I really wanted to love this mascara because I’ve had great experiences with Lancôme before, but this one ended up being just okay for me. It definitely gives a nice curl and my lashes looked lifted right away, especially after using an eyelash curler. The black color is rich and it does make your lashes stand out. That said, I don’t think it lived up to the “dramatic volume” claims. I got some volume, but nowhere near what I expected for the price. After a couple coats it started to look a little heavy and I noticed some slight clumping, especially on the outer corners. The hold is decent, but not perfect. By the end of the day my lashes were still curled, but not as much as when I first applied it. It also wasn’t as weightless as advertised and I could definitely feel it more than some other mascaras I’ve used. Overall it’s not a bad mascara and it does give a pretty look, but I don’t think it’s worth the high price unless you’re already a huge Lancôme fan. ... show more

I'm already obsessed with the classic Lash Idole so I was excited to try the Curl Goddess, and it might be my new favorite. The curl lasts all day (even without a lash curler!) and the volume is insane. It also doesn't have any fallout/clumping/smudging, which is a must for me. Ok, it goes on nicely, however as it is called "Curl Goddess"...it does NOT keep my lashes curled. I don't have naturally curly lashes and I had high hopes for this. The tube is super cute, but not a reason to keep a mascara that doesn't hold to it's claim. Went back to my L'Oreal Lash Paradise.
