I already have one smaller CarPlay unit and decided to pick up another for my second bike. While I thought I would use these only for navigation, I find it also makes communication and controlling music easier as well. I always found voice and intercom controls a bit clunky, so I rarely bothered with calls or music. With the large display, quickly glancing to screen calls or start, stop, skip or change a playlist is a breeze. No more pulling over to pull my phone out, everything I need is right there and accessible with a few quick taps. Android Auto always connects seamlessly after the quick bootup. Google Maps, Spotify, Phone and Messages apps are intuitive and work perfectly. The screen is large, bright and responsive even with gloves. A small touch I really love is the brightness toggle switches between bright, dim and off. Being able to turn off the display is great when I don't want or need the display. Other units I've had just don't have an easy way of turning the screen or even the whole unit off. Big plus for me for such a simple thing. The mount is easy to install and allows a lot of flexibility in positioning the display. In my case, I have it mounted near the clutch lever and tilted up and right a bit to keep in inline with the bike's gauge cluster. If you already have a RAM style mount, you should be able reuse it and pop this on easily. Otherwise, the included metal mount is sturdy and very stable. Wiring is a breeze with only a ground and 12v line that need to be connected. Just be sure to use a 12v line that only turns on with the key. I chose to use the tail light with a Y-splitter to avoid cutting anything.

Amazing CarPlay for motorcycle !! Connection with my phone is in seconds and FLAWLESS !! Screen quality is amazingly good, very sweet cinematic when the initial boot on !!no glare at direct sunshine, very responsive with gps apps like Waze and google maps and some other motorcycle route planners Helmet intercom connects directly with the unit and you able to control you music through it, phones calls are clear and pristine I kept this unit few days cooking at direct sun, never let me down, connected it direct to the battery just took me 10 minutes to direct the cable through the bike I’m very impressed with the speed and the screen response !! I can swap between apps in seconds and the transition works very fast, unit went through rain for a long period of time and I can say this is a waterproof CarPlay Very happy with the customer service as well, very fast response and lovely, contacted them to know if I can plug that on my fuse box, they replied me right away and explained me all the steps to do it Overall I’m very delighted with this motorcycle CarPlay unit !!

After my phone overheated again under the Texas sun while showing navigation, I decided to buy this CarPlay screen. What a difference! The larger screen with a brighter display and the canopy, along with the much easier navigation features of CarPlay have me wishing I installed this years ago. Pairing to my iPhone was easy and it connects on startup every time. The firmware that came with it seems to be operating fine, I’ve not had any issues with it. My touch capacitive gloves work fine with it. I use the Sena Bluetooth audio and I just have to remember to start the bike, first, then turn on the headset, to ensure the phone uses the correct audio profile. The only small issue I have is that the power cable doesn’t come with any termination ends for installation. I used a fuse extender to connect it to my brake light circuit and then tapped into the return with a t-connector. Some basic knowledge of electrical is needed, or you may need to take this to a shop to be installed.

The media could not be loaded. The screen works perfectly. Connects with CarPlay and helmet Cardo unit every time. It does require both bluetooth and wifi to be turned on for a connection. I was in an area where 5G was better than wifi at a coffee shop so I turned off my phone wifi. It wouldn’t connect when I got back to the bike until I turned it back on. The screen at least gave me a warning so I didn’t waste any time trying to figure out why it wasn’t connected. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because of no automatic dimming. I rode at dawn and it didn’t dim. Checked the settings in a dark garage and it didn’t work there either. It has to be manually selected to “Always Dark” from the CarPlay appearance settings if you are going to be using it in the darker lighting situations. There is also no power off button. You can make the screen go black but not off. So it has to be wired to a switched circuit or your battery will drain. Otherwise it works just fine.

I was skeptical about this based on the price. I received it and went to install it but there was no sort of instructions in the box at all. If you aren’t familiar with wiring, this may not be the unit for you. I installed it on a 23’ KLR650 using the auxiliary circuit on the bike. The unit functions well. It paired with my phone flawlessly. The only complaint or improvement I would make is that it be USB compatible instead of hardwired. I also installed a USB charging port on my bike but this doesn’t even use it. Not a deal killer, but it would make it easier to mount and remove when you park in public. The mount is stable enough that it won’t bounce around, but I haven’t taken it offroad yet. For what you get, it’s a good deal. It is easy to install but you will need your own wiring connectors. None are included in the box.

Happy with my little motorcycle car play, screen clarity in direct sunshine no problem, easy to use connection to my phone is a breeze , size is big enough I think , connects to my intercom sound quality is pristine , waterproof I ride in rain for a couple of hours and the unit didn’t flinch, soon I’ll connect their customer service for a custom screensaver , I’m very pleased with this motorcycle CarPlay
