    • HH makes a really good rainpant

I found a larger version of the HH rain pants about 10+ years ago and used them for years. The material doesn't ravel so I simply cut off the too-long legs until they fit (long enough to dissuade rain from traveling into my shoes). After losing some weight I needed a smaller size and HH was the only brand I'd consider. These DO fit a bit tight in the waist (hips are fine) but not uncomfortably so and once again I simply cut the bottoms off to the right length and they work like a charm. ... show more

I'm a dog walker in Seattle and these pants are a must have. They are completely waterproof and keep me dry. I'm 5'4" so they are a little long. But these pants have snaps at bottom of the pant leg. So you can taper them which shortens/prevents then from dragging on the ground. There is an elastic waist. However, it is on the smaller medium size. If you are a small/medium then they'll be fine. But if you are between a medium/large I would size up, especially if your wearing something underneath. As a reference I wear a 28 inch waist in jeans. ... show more

Love these pants! We live in a rainforest so rain pants, coats, and boots are a must to do anything outside a lot of the time. We also carry them with in our packs if not raining just incase it starts. These are perfect. Light weight enough for year round wear weather hiking or kayaking. These pants do what they promise. They really are waterproof. I've used them several times, and they are holding up well. I gave them 4 rather than 5 stars only because they are not particularly flattering. But to get stylishness too, you'd probably have to pay a lot more money.
