  • Follow instructions
I ordered this product for my plantar fasciitis. My friend had bought one of these and had good success so I purchased one. In the instructions they direct you on how to bend it properly because there is a metal flat bar that runs down the shin area to the toes. If you don’t follow the instructions, it doesn’t feel like it fits right so I bent the metal back to original flat again and then followed the instructions from the beginning very carefully and then I got a good fit. It is awkward at first to get used to and sleep in but eventually if you get the fit right it is less bothersome it definitely keep your foot straight and from slashing forward, which is what you need to do with plantar fasciitis continue to keep that muscle stretched out. ... show more

  • Instructions DO NOT MATCH PRODUCT - But still a good purchase
I have had Plantar Fasciitis in both feet for a couple of years on and off (mostly on). I wanted something to keep my calf stretched at night. This works, but it took me a long time to put it together because I was reading the instructions that came with the package. The instructions have a picture of a different design, with two strap buckles on the side. The product you get has one strap buckle that should hang on the exterior where your shin is. It hooks to a strap that comes off the toe of the boot. REAL INSTRUCTIONS - unhook and unvelcro everything to begin, laying it out with the long black tension strap extended away from you. Your toes will go on the pad attached to the long black strap. 1) Bend the large padded part to go match the angle where the top of your foot meets your shin. 2) The main/colored straps next to the long black strap will go around the ball of your feet. Leave the black strap at the top of your toes for the time-being. 3) The bent part will go on TOP of your foot to your shin, not under your calf. 4) Secure the second colored strap to your leg, going around your shin and calf.. 5) Thread the long black strap at your toe to the metal buckle at the front of your shin. That is the ONLY strap holding the tension. The photos make it look like there should be two straps, one at each side...but this is clearly not what you are working with. ... show more

  • Comfortable and easy to put on.
I was advised by my podiatrist that I should get a night splint so that I wouldn't aggravate my plantar fasciitis at night. This splint has been AMAZING. I don't wake up with the shooting pain anymore. With the addition of the ball I can work the plantar first thing in the morning and I am pain free for the rest of the day. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. Plus I thought I would be uncomfortable sleeping but it has been remarkably easy to find a comfortable position. I definitely recommend this product for anyone who are suffering with plantar fasciitis. ... show more

  • Helped the pain
I walk a mile daily and one night I developed sharp heel pain while walking . The pain increased during the night and I was unable to sleep so I went to urgent care the following day. They took an X-ray checking for a bone spur which I didn’t have. They said most likely it was plantar fasciitis . I started researching Amazon for tools that could help the pain and found this splint. I started wearing it and using the ball and by the time I saw my ortho doctor a week later the pain was gone. I don’t wear the splint to bed but while I watch tv or read and it certainly seems to alleviate the problem . I am back to walking regularly . There was a learning curve to figure out how to wear it but the included picture instructions were helpful. ... show more

  • Works
Works for me. Took awhile to figure out the straps. It would help if velcro straps were not black. They blend in and make them difficult to find. If I splint at night then my foot hurts less in the morning. Just don't bend past 90 degrees or pull toe strap too hard. The metal bar on top is fine as long as I adjust it's angle. Took some experimenting to fine the right bend in the bar for comfort. The spiky ball was a surprise. Didn't intend to use it, but I tried it and it feels so good on the ball of my foot. ... show more

  • Easy to assemble and wear.
It works to strengthen the tendon but I’m not able to wear it all night because my foot would swell and it hurt where the curve was on top of my foot. I tried to bend and loosen but just wasn’t able to get it to a position that allowed me to wear at night so I used it while awake and in the recliner. Overall it worked as advertised. ... show more

  • Great buy
The media could not be loaded. I’m a healthcare professional and would have no problem recommending this to my patients. The purpose of a night splint is to keep your foot at a 90 degree angle which prevents the plantar’s fascia from shortening at night (making the pain worse in the morning especially with your first step). Pros: It’s soft, easy to put on/take off and has held up for me for the past month. But what is most important is that it’s effective for its purpose. I also liked that it’s pink but that’s a personal preference. Cons: There is a flimsy metal bar that runs on the front of the splint. It was causing too much pressure on the top of my foot but there is an opening that you can slide it out. You can bend the bar to keep the splint at a 90 degree angle but for me the splint works better without it. Also included was this hard little ball. I didn’t think much of it at first but it actually feels really good to roll your foot on it! I’ve uploaded a video of how to put the splint on. When I was searching for a splint it seemed liked this confused a lot of people. To me it wasn’t difficult but I also work in the medical field and deal with braces a lot. Tip: There is nothing fun about a night splint. It’s okay to work your way into it. For me that was putting it on while sitting and watching TV before bed to get used to it before attempting to wear it to bed a few nights later. The first night I probably only made it 45min. Just work your way into it and try to make it a little bit longer each night. Sleep is important but this is comfortable enough that you’ll get there! ... show more

  • Good brace
I had tried a couple other braces for my plantar fasciitis & this was the best. The others didn't go to the end of my foot so my toes would curl down causing my foot to cramp up which was very counter productive. I have a narrow foot so it's awkward to get the brace to fit snug like I want which is the only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 but I think that's common with these things. ... show more

  • It does stretch the plantar fascia.
The media could not be loaded. I've had this product for 2 weeks and I've used it most everyday. I work on my feet 12+hr/day, 3 days per week. I have had plantar fasciitis for 6 months. This is my first splint purchased and I chose this one based on reviews and the way it looks. It is easy to use and it really does stretch the plantar fascia. You can adjust the degree of dorsiflexion, the tightness around the calf and toes. I wear this splint about 30 minutes each time. I have not slept in it because after about 30 minutes of intense stretching (I tighten the straps as tight they'll go), the part at the toe area starts to hurt. I prefer to use it this way and it has helped my issure tremendously. There is a pink, spiky ball that came with the splint and it works great to massage the plantar fascia before and after wearing the splint. Overall, I am happy with this purchase and the price. ... show more

  • You have to adjust it to the best position
***update 8/12/2023*** I bent the metal piece to slightly less of an angle and loosened the strap a bit and it was MUCH more comfortable. I was able to sleep through the night and no pain or discomfort! Glad I gave this another try.*** This made my toes fall asleep, and makes my hips hurt. I couldn't wear it through the whole night, the pain woke me. I really tried to make this one work, adjusted the tightness of the strap and the angle of the bend, it just didn't work for me. Switched to a different brand and no plantar fasciitis pain on waking, plus I can walk much better in the morning. ... show more

  • Finally, Some Relieft
My Plantar Faciitis loves to flare up. I’ve tried lost of braces, but this is the first one that actually works for me. My plan was to wear it at night, but after while my foot starts to fall asleep so I take it off. When I get up in the morning, there is little to NO pain. I don’t use the ball that came with it, but the brace itself is well worth the purchase and use. The first night I used this I felt relief that following morning, and now I’m not even using the brace b/c I feel good. Next time it flares up, I’ll use this brace and knock it out! ... show more

  • WOW!!!! Amazing!!!!
This has been such a life changer for me!!! I hated waking up and almost hitting the floor my feet hurt so bad. I bought these and for the 1st time in I don't know how long I can get out of bed or off the couch and not be in pain. I started wearing them to bed every night and ended taking it off during the night. Now I'm down to wearing them to bed once a week just as a preventive type of thing. Now putting them on the 1st time is pretty much a pain in the foot......LOL!!! I suggest you watch the you tube video, it really helps. Once you put it on a couple times its alot easier. ... show more

  • Keeps your foot at the correct angle to stretch tendon
Got pink bc I could get sooner. It does tell you to gradually wear it in the beginning before wearing all night as the doc wants. I do have a difficult time putting it on by myself. My foot/ toes tingle a bit after its on for an hour. Do not walk around in it. It changes the shape for your foot for next time. So much more comfortable then the Strassberg sock. That was painful, and better then the clod hopping plastic boot from the doc . This is soft. I think you will be happy with it. ... show more

  • Awesome!
I really like this. It was easy to figure out how to put on and it seems to be easing the pain. I’ve had this pain for a couple months and so it’s not an overnight correction but does seem to be helping. It’s not horrible to sleep with either.
