I agreed this was my last shot at buying an area rug online. I had previously bought 3 others on Amazon & returned them. This one is great-the colors are true to what was shown. Its colorful, soft, unique & I love it. I have no idea how it will hold up over time, but honestly, for the price, if I get a couple years out of it, it was worth it. ***update**** After having this rug for a month I have to say that it does NOT hold up well. It has worn tremendously in one area that is lightly used. It is not walked on or abused, just a spot where I sit at in the morning to have my coffee. When this first arrived, I was so happy with it! It was exactly the colors I needed for my boho bedroom. It was super soft and just perfect. After having it for a month or two, it isn't wearing very well. It is in an area that doesn't get any sun, yet it is already fading amd wearing quickly in the places that it is walked on. I was hoping it would last longer than it has, but unfortunately I'm going to have to replace it soon as it's starting to look quite shabby. I guess if it's never going to be walked on, it will last longer. But who has rugs that are never walked on? It is beautiful, I just wish it didn't wear so quickly. ... show more

The rug looks nice enough and does not slip. I do however think this fug and others like them are a much better fit for bath or bed room. In the description states faux wool. I would say the feel and texture is much like the faux fur of a stuffefd teddy bear.
