This reel looks nice and cast well the gearing is well balanced the spool does have a little play in it and squeaks a little but appears to function well. Over all not the best out there but very nice and decent for the price

I had a hard time when it first came. It was super loose. After tightening the reel to no free spin and working my way backwards it became manageable. Really does have some finesse which is nice. Drag is a little stiff though. Maybe as it breaks in and I get more used to it, it will be a regular in the rotation. I recommend it for first time bait cast users. I gave it four stars cuz of this a little noisy but it seems to be pretty good so far will see how old's up I like it for the money kind of hard to go wrong so far

At the price point, this is a great reel. The only issue so far is it makes a weird clicking noise when you cast. The spool speed adjusting knob and magnetic brakes work as they should and it’s held up to 2 fishing trips so far.
