The media could not be loaded. Liked it all! See the video. Only issue was case was missing lock down latch. So, when I received package the refractometer was loosely floating in the poly bag. It did not appear damaged and worked perfectly. This issue, in my opinion, was not worth the hassle of returning. The low price was important to me as I’m not a rich beekeeper-lol! Needed to check my honey moisture content and had another refractometer for brix / gravity... Didn't work. Bought this one for my bee stuff and it worked perfect right out of the box. 16% for my first batch of honey harvest, worked great.

I’d give this five stars except in the unit I got it takes a very bright light to read. The first 15 or so readings I made with it I double checked against a hydrometer and both readings were always the same
