I found this product because one of my favorite music artist advertise it and I decided to give it a try. The osmanthus scent is extremely subtle. I can only notice it when I bring my hand close to my nose, and the fragrance does not linger on my hair. If you are looking for a strong or long-lasting scent, this may not be the best option. However, as a hair oil, it performs very well. The texture is lightweight and non-greasy, and using it before blow-drying helps keep my hair smooth and silky. The one-star deduction is solely due to the fragrance strength.

Full disclosure, I bought this product because of Jimin being an ambassador for the brand.🫣🤭 Sight unseen, I ordered it (loved it was so affordable) and I was so amazed at this product! I am a black woman with natural hair and this has seamlessly fit into my haircare regimen. I love the smell and the consistency. For an oil, it isn't very...oily, which I like. It absorbs into my hair so well and defines my curls in the best way. Oh, and the smell! Omg!! I wish I could use it as a body oil😆. It smells amazing and it doesn't fade quickly. It smells amazing, it comes in different scents, I bought almost all of them, it's not sticky or greasy, it leaves my hair manageable and the scent lasts for me. I use more on wavy hair, but a little is enough for straight hair. It adds shine, I use it on dry hair for extra shine, and on damp hair as a styling product when I use a hairdryer.

Since I wash my kinky afro hair weekly/bi-weekly, I wanted a hair oil that would make my hair shiny and perfumes. I love how thick this feels on my hair and it helps to weigh my hair down and seals in moisture on damp hair after washing. I also like to use it on dry hair for perfume and extra lubrication - ya know how kinky hair likes to tangle! I do not like the smell of this particular scent though. It starts off smelling nice, but there's this undernote of a funky musty smell - it smells like a musty person that tries to cover up with deodorant. It's unpleasant. I wish there were samples of the smells. I like the feel of the oil but would like to try a different smell
