Had to replace my other La Crosse Projection Clock and picked this one. It is a great clock and I have it projecting on my ceiling. You can see the time, outdoor/indoor temps. It is quite bright but it has a feature that you can set to dim the actual clock during certain hours. If not it would be a great night light but I found it almost too bright. ... show more

This was a replacement for our old one & it works great! I especially love how the projection can be rotated so that it shows in the correct position above the bed, whether you put it on the headboard or at the foot of the bed somewhere. So glad they are still making this & improving it. The only thing that was different that I di not like, but some might, is that it cycles through time, inside temp & outside temp. For me, I really appreciate the larger projection display and the ability to make the display brighter. It was easy to setup and I do like the battery backup feature. Item itself is very light weigh but does appear to be constructed well.

I have had two set up for about a month. One is off by 5 hours. The other is off by a half hour. I reset one to see if it would at least maintain accurate time for a month. The next day it was off by 5 hours. I have it set for the right time zone, etc. It's not difficult to program all that in. It's also pretty bright at night next to the bed. They arrived on June 21, and I do not see any option for returning these today on August 5. So, If you choose to try them anyway, read how long you get to return them and set them up right away. I left them in the box for awhile before setting them up. These were not cheap, but they are pretty much an expensive paperweight now.
