A must have make up staple for your eyes but was a bit nervous as it has a natural bug color (carmine) in it that can cause an allergic reaction . So please check the ingredients if you have allergies .

Overall, it's a pretty average product. The hype around it doesn't feel deserved. The formula is reminiscent of every L'Oreal mascara I've used, it's only the brush that's different. The burgundy shade is pretty but still too close to black, like every burgundy mascara. I've been struggling to get it to look nice consistently, even though my lashes are healthy and of average length. It's too much effort for what it is, and I have other mascaras that are easier to use. Here's a more detailed breakdown: COLOR — I currently rotate between the L'Oreal Panorama and the Maybelline Sky High, both in burgundy. The colors are pretty much indistinguishable (but I like Sky High's formula and brush more). The shade looks nice on my brown eyes, I just wish it was lighter so it looked less like a regular black shade. BRUSH — The cone shape and bristle alignments are good at separating my lashes, and it's stable enough to comb through my lashes without the wand bending. However, the larger end of the cone is too wide for my hooded eyes, and it ends up depositing product onto my skin more frequently than smaller wands. FORMULA — It's on the drier side, which makes the first layer look spidery. Adding more layers is difficult without making my lashes look blocky. I prefer a wetter formula for building up the color because it's easier for me to work with. CURL — It holds a curl pretty well after I use a regular lash curler. It doesn't work as well with my heated lash curler, but that's because the burgundy shade isn't a waterproof formula. SMUDGE — I have oily eyelids and I haven't had any issues with it smudging or flaking, even after wearing it for 12+ hours in the summer heat and humidity. I genuinely appreciate any mascara that can do this because my face sweats a lot. REMOVAL — It's easily removed with a basic eye makeup remover liquid or a waterproof mascara remover. I don't had to struggle with it or lose lashes while removing it. ... show more
