This mascara actually lived up to the claims of no-flake, smear, or clumping, and genuinely increased volume and length as promised. Did not irritate my sensitive eyes, or aggravate contact lens.     • Great Budget Mascara!

I have severe contact allergies and am very limited on the products I can use on my eyes and skin. I was so excited to see this new mascara pop up on my list of safe products. The first time I used it, it made my lashes go stick straight even after curling the crap out of them. I have really long natural semi-fine eyelashes, so that always seems to be the case for me with a new tube of mascara. The next time I used it, I let the wand dry out a bit before applying and that helped but still made my lashes go straight-ish. The NEXT time I used it I did the same thing and it was much better. This trick is what I usually have to do to get a tube of mascara to "work" for me. I like the buildability of it. I can apply multiple coats without it getting all clumpy. The wand is great at separating my lashes as well. The only negative is that I need to use micellar water to remove all the black residue from around my eyes after a shower. But it's a small inconvenience for the price tag. The mascara I've been using for years (and still absolutely love) uses what they call a "tubing" formulation that makes it easily slide right off your lashes leaving no racoon eyes behind. I just see this as an adjustment for me, not necessarily a "con". ... show more
