L’Oral Paris Voluminous Original Volume Building Mascara is uniquely formulated to resist clumping, keep lashes soft, and build lashes up to 5x their natural thickness. Volume Maximizing Brush quickly thickens and builds lashes evenly for a full and bold look. Contains Panthenol and Ceramide-R and helps protect and condition lashes. Resists clumping and flaking, and leaves lashes supple and soft to the touch. Packaging may vary. What you receive may not be what is reflected on site. • Bold, volume building mascara • Up to 5x fuller lashes • Separates and builds every lash • Clump-free and Smudge- resistant mascara Place brush at base of lashes and gently sweep up to tip. I’ve used the burgundy one a long time now and was concerned due to many reviews on here and elsewhere that the formula might’ve changed to something that would irritate my eyes. I ran out and ordered more with my fingers crossed, along with trying the blue one for the first time, and I’ve had no irritation, just the mascara I’ve come to expect, thankfully. I typically have sensitive eyes, so I’m very relieved. I would love it if the blue one were a little more thickening and lengthening. But it’s still very pretty. I think the burgundy will always be my favorite. On me, it mostly looks like a slightly burgundy-tinged brown. Like the discontinued Black Honey mascara from Clinique. I usually use black mascara of another brand on my top lashes and the burgundy one on my bottom lashes, and it’s not completely smudge-proof under my eyes even with primer and setting spray - but it’s so much easier to dab at and fix than any black mascara (all of them smudge under my eyes). I've used L'Oreal Voluminous since it came in the long red tube,( since the '70's, I think). I will occasionally try another brand or formula but, nobody does mascara like L'Oreal and I always come back to it. I'm a fair skinned blond with light blue eyes. I have plenty of eyelashes and they are are long enough but, like the rest of my hair they are blond and fine so without a good mascara, I look really washed out. This product was not as thick as the last order I used. It is a good color but for some reason, and I don't know why, it was not quite as thick as the first one I used. I like it to make my lashes seem fuller and this new tube did not give me the satisfaction of my first order.

This has been my go-to for over a decade with no problems until I ordered it from Amazon. It began clumping within a week and was dried out after 2 weeks. It usually lasts 3-4x longer. This inventory must have been a knockoff, an outdated discount batch for Amazon, or been sitting in the warehouse a long time because I got another from the drugstore and it worked beautifully as usual for over 6 weeks. It’s not a bargain if it’s already defective, and can’t be returned, so I won’t be ordering cosmetics from Amazon anymore. The title says it all, and I’m hard to please. No “melting” or smearing, the brush calibrates the application for reaching every lash and building to your desired effect, it stands up to a full day of work or play, and doesn’t irritate my eyes. ... show more

This is as good as the Dior waterproof I had been using for years. Goes on the same, looks just as great, doesn't clump, only need two coats. Make sure you remove any clumps on the wand when putting away. The only difference is that a tube doesn't last as long as the uber pricy brand. I somehow always end up back to using this mascara. Was looking for a new brown mascara and came across this one. After not using this for a while I forgot just how good it is. Even after multiple layers it does not clump. Glad I gave this another try.

This has always been my favorite mascara. It lasts a long time and doesn't clump (unless you let it get old). This is the best price unless I find it on a great sale at Ulta, but their sales are not as good as they use to be.
