Volume Maximizing Brush quickly thickens and builds lashes evenly for a full and bold look. Contains Panthenol and Ceramide-R and helps protect and condition lashes. Resists clumping and flaking, and leaves lashes supple and soft to the touch. Packaging may vary. What you receive may not be what is reflected on site. Bold, volume building mascara. Up to 5x fuller lashes. Separates and builds every lash. Clump-free and Smudge- resistant mascara Place brush at base of lashes and gently sweep up to tip. Removes easily with soap and water. Every now and again I like to try other colors of mascara besides black. This product goes on well. Does not irritate my sensitive eyes. The dark green is beautiful and it compliments the green of my eyes.

This mascara is really nice for the price. If you like a more natural looking mascara you will like this. It lengthens each individual lash. I personally like a mascara that gives me a “falsies look” and clumps my lashes a little more. As far as the deep burgundy color- I could see it showing well on blonde lashes but doesn’t show much on my dark brown lashes. ... show more

I’ve been using this mascara since the 80s so that speaks volumes! Inexpensive, makes lashes the longest and thickest they can ever be, separates, doesn’t dry them out, stays put all day without smudging and washes off one two three with any cleanser or soap. This is a good, inexpensive, colored mascara. I like that it has a brush head instead of a plastic one. It goes on nice and the color really pops in the sun.

    • It’s finally fragrance-free!

I had tried several different L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara formulas over the years. Each time, I would open a tube and be overwhelmed by a fragrance that was similar to a Play-Doh like product my three daughters played with when they were little. I couldn’t understand why they included a potentially irritating ingredient like fragrance, especially in a product like mascara which is used in a sensitive area like the eye. I think I even wrote to them several years saying as much. Anyway, I finally found the two words in the description of this product that I’ve been waiting for, FRAGRANCE FREE! I purchased the mascara in Cobalt Blue, Deep Green and Deep Violet. So far I’ve only tried the Cobalt Blue. I pulled the applicator out of the tube slowly and carefully. It appeared that there was a little too much formula on the tip of the applicator, so I decided to try applying the mascara with a fan-shaped brush (also purchased on Amazon) which I scraped along the applicator brush. My lashes looked longer, fuller and soft, not clumpy. I tried one coat, which was fine for daytime. If you want a bolder look for evening, try two coats, but separate your lashes with an eyelash comb/brush (also purchased on Amazon, LOL) in between coats. I am really happy with the current formula of L’Oréal Voluminous Mascara and hope you are too! ... show more
