My eyes and surrounding skin are sensitive, oily, and leaky (thanks to forever seasonal allergies), so it's really hard to find a product that works and doesn't lead to smudgy "football player" eyes 5 minutes after I leave the house. I've paid a fortune for department store eyeliners that work well but break the bank. Here's my process: I start with a good primer on clean skin (The "Thank me Later" primer works well on a budget), apply eye shadow, apply the liner, and then "set" it with some translucent powder before finishing with mascara. It really works and holds all day with minimal touch ups (because sometimes life happens--it's super humid, went for a run, etc). This is my go-to liner. I find black too harsh but I like a darker look so this brown black color is perfect. It is long lasting, doesn’t smudge or irritate my skin and I really like the look. I’ll continue to purchase this over and over.

The only complaint I have is that the pencil breaks off easily if you are not careful. You can only have a bare minimum workable extension of the pencile. Not much past the opening. Have been using this pencil for several yrs. It’s smudge proof, water proof and does not come off
