I spent a good amount of money on foundations, trying to find the perfect one. They all seem good in the beginning but then I eventually notice they don’t match my undertone. I end up looking ashy by the end of the day. I started adding a very small amount of the mixing pigment into a foundation I bought at Marshall’s and honestly it matches me better than my expensive urban decay foundation.     • Exactly what you need to adjust foundation to match your undertone
So I’ve actually had a lot of experience with make up and I would consider myself As experienced and knowledgeable for most types of make up application. But for some reason I could not figure out why my foundation color should be. I recently learned that I am a cool light which is usually some thing like ivory beige Whenever I read the word beige in a foundation color I assumed it wouldn’t match my skin tone. Long story short I have a lot of foundation that doesn’t have the correct undertone. I’ve been able to add this product to any of my make up that was a neutral undertone to get it to match my skin and it’s Awesome! I told a couple of my friends about it as well because they have some foundation that is the right shade but wrong undertone As well. Some of my foundations are a little thicker than this but I think if it was the same consistency it wouldn’t blend as well. I’m very very happy with it. This is a must for people with golden undertones. If you want your makeup to match perfectly this is a must. A tiny bit goes a long way. A must for MUA kits. Get the blue, white, yellow,i think tgere a red one as well.

This mixing pigment is fantastic. It is not too thin and runny, it has just the right consistency. I tried it on my hand before mixing it with the foundation and saw that it's full coverage. I bought to use it with the Dior Perfection foundation. I tried about 30 foundations this year and that was the only one that did not dissolve on my nose and inner cheeks because of my oily skin. However, the warm undertone that Macy's carried and that Dior had in stock online was too a dark shade for me. I bought my correct shade of the Dior foundation which only came in the neutral undertone which was pinkish-brown. I used the yellow LA mixing pigment and poured it in the foundation bottle testing it a few times until the foundation had just the right undertone of yellow to match my skin. The mixing pigment did not change the foundation in any way besides for the color even though I used about one quarter the amount of foundation. This mixing pigment is fantastic! ... show more

I used it to make a neutral tone foundation match me better. I have light to medium skin with warm undertones. This made my foundation a little too dark for me but this can easily be fixed with a moisturizer with a white tint.

Very satisfied with this product though it is drying to skin so I have to avoid fine line area around eyes. I kind of just put it in the middle zone of face and blend. I put a little of my moisturizer with it so it's more nourishing. Really nice to finally get the right coloring for my skin type (undercover of yellow vs purple) ... show more
