I am Korean, and been looking for a good smoky eye palette that was actually SMOKY (most of the colors on the eye shadows I get are too light for my skin tone). I was hoping this would be it.The colors are amazing and some are darker than others (see photos below, - in this one I am wearing the silvery-blue color and the darker sparkly burgundy) but by the end of the day they are much lighter than when initially applied (I work in an office, sitting in front of a computer all day, so I'm not like outside sweating or anything). The black in particular looks more grey than black). I have also noticed that the colors tend to go on better when I use my other makeup brushes, rather than the one that came with this palette (I always end up with more on the sponge applicator end than on my eyes). Still working my way through all the other colors so I will see how the rest turn out... ... show more

LA Girl is a lower end makeup line so don’t expect quality like MAC or Urban Decay. However, combined with designer makeup LA Girl can rock! Especially their concealers! This eyeshadow is brightly colored. Was delivered in tact. Photo shows one application to my arm using the brush included in the brick. Would probably pop more with primer and more layers or wet application. You can even see a bit of the colors together on the purple streak as there was still blue on the brush. Ordered this palette to use on my girls for Halloween. My oldest was a unicorn and wanted bright colored makeup and my youngest was a pumpkin and needed green and orange. This worked wonderful and blended well!! Will definitely last a while since we will basically only use it around Halloween but it was worth the money ... show more

I love adding shimmer to my makeup no matter the look and this palette meets all my shimmer needs. :) it has a variety of colors ranging from light to dark shades and all of them apply creamy and pigmented! They have decent lasting power throughout the day and I’ve yet to experience much fallout. The pigmentation is so weak I could hardly get the color visible on my skin, so forget any contouring with this palette. Might work better with a fluffy brush or wet brush. Not happy with the quality of this eyeshadow at all. I was trying for a smoky purple eye, but the difficulty of applying the eyeshadow made me look like I had a black eye. If you wanna delve into the world of makeup without busting the bank, this eyeshadow palette is a good way to begin exploring. The formula does not allow much payoff of the colors as much as I would like and they crease if you don’t use eyeshadow primer.

The colours are okay, but they are dull and all of them are opaque. There are not ant matt eyeshadows. Overall, not a great palette. The colours in the ad pictures do not correspond to reality.
