If only the formula were better... Though the colors are beautiful in the pans, and the colors are pigmented, when applied to the skin they are chalky and when blended, the colors become muddy. I have had great luck with some of LA Girl products, such as eye pencils, lip liners, etc... but I can't recommend this one. I will be passing this on to the little girl next door to play dress-up with. Sadly, that is about all this is good for. I gave it 3 stars because it's not horrible for the price but you definitely get what you pay for. ... show more

I had heard good things about these palettes on YouTube, but the reviews here were discouraging. I’m so glad I went ahead and ordered. The colors are lovely and offer so many different looks. They’re buttery, buildable, and pigmented. One review said they creased but mine wore beautifully into the evening. These LA Girl palettes are superior to my high end shadows, including those from Tarte and ColourPop. And the price is much, much better! ... show more

    • Beads fell off

I wore this to a dinner the day after I bought it. It was fantastic and gorgeous and got so many compliments. At the end of the night a couple of beads fell off. I stuck them in the purse with the notion that I would glue them back on later. A few days later I picked the purse up to do just that and when I picked it up four more beads fell off. Then more. Then more. Upon closer inspection I noticed that all of the beads are loosely glued on and with the wrong touch will simply fall off. I've since super glued almost all of them back on and while it looks the same I don't feel like I should have to do this. A product should hold up on it's own without needing altered (reglued) immediately after purchasing. ... show more
