I bought the 7/8 wt fly reel for steelhead fishing. The technique I am using for steelhead fishing is jigging, so I need a very light fly reel along with my switch rod. The Kylebooker fly reel is just what I need. I checked the brake of the reel. Very smooth!!! This will help me control and land steelhead successfully. Nice backup reel to have in the tackle box during a fishing trip, in case my decent and expensive reel not working. It is cheap and quality okay, definitely gonna reel some small/medium sized fish species (rainbows, browns, even steel head) in for no problem. Why not?
