I used this to hang up some 3d printed objects in my office. The hold was solid and the onyl this that has fallen happened when I ran my office chair along the tape seam and the item popped off the wall. So with some force it will fail, but in normal cases when you're hanging something (probably under 5lbs), it should hold for a good long time. ... show more

So far the brackets and pictures that I have used this adhesive on our holding just fine. I am not hanging anything that has a lot of weight so I can't say how strong it is compared to the standard 3M rolls that you might get at the hardware store but they seem to be a great alternative to that brand. I have used these on several projects that are using screws and conjunction with the adhesives and so far everything is still hanging on the wall. also have used these to mount some thicker mats for pictures and no issues there either. ... show more

Wanted to like this stuff as much as the name brand stuff that I usually get, but it just doesn't seem very sticky for mounting stuff. The size is great, I find this particular width and thickness the most common that I would use, and you get a lot for the money, but I didn't find it to stick very well on the side that rolls off if that makes sense. It didn't stick to smooth ceramic tile very well and I was able to pull it right back off. The side that you peel the sticky tape off seems more sticky.
