It slides too much and falls off the table if barely bumped. Not substantial at all. I would order a bigger plastic hook type instead of this. I cannot recommend this and was very disappointed

Neat and nice looking hooks that work very well with regular tables. Because dressers or bedroom end tables have fronts and sides, they do not work as well since the fronts and sides interfere with the hooks somewhat.
