I've stepped up after several years with an early Hurom, which is the same parent company and factory. This machine is such an improvement of an already great juicer. It takes whole apples no problem, which is huge for someone who juices a lot of apples like me. Having solved the only laborious part to clean, the cleaning tool truly works! It's brushes are replaceable. I still split stiff vegetables like big carrots lengthwise, and feed slower that max so it doesn't strain the parts, same as the other Hurom. But It makes sorbet, (blank screen included) smoothies (with an optional course screen sold separately)— or baby food. Truly I think the best in the world. It's ratio of— : cost, quality of juice, ease of use, ease of cleaning (by far), and quietness.

This was a replacement to a Jay Kordich power grinder juicer which was a centrifugal juicer I could no longer obtain replacement parts for. I was initially going to go with a breville centrifugal juicer to replace it but started checking out all the options and was thrilled to find this vertices auger juicer with a 3 inch chute. I'd never had an auger juicer and didn't know if there would be a difference in taste to justify the perceived draw backs to an auger style juicer, those being a longer time spent juicing and more prep work needed in cutting the veggies. Well, the juice is fantastic. It is incredibly fresh and the kale is less intrusive in the end product compared to the centrifugal juicer. Also, the amount of juice that you get from the leafy greens is signifantly more. As far as it taking longer to juice, not with this machine. As the blade on my previous juicer became dull, it strained to handle beets and kale and it took longer than this Kuvings whole slow juicer. The only thing different is a very minimal amount of prep to celery and kale. Clean up is comparable and Kuvings provides a few handy tools to help remove the pulp from the ejection chute. Speaking of, the pulp that comes out is quite dry. Overall I am extremely happy I made the jump to this auger style juicer. It yields a superior quality juice at a greater quantity.

Online reviews for this product are great and it works just fine. What's not mentioned is that this is a complicated product and not easy to clean. Lot of moving parts. I had to watch YouTube to learn how to assemble correctly. Once assembled, juice (apples, carrots and cucumbers) was great. But then cleaning up was a bigger chore than expected. In fact, if it's not easy to clean, I'm not likely to use it as frequently

Impressive. This thing gives great yield! So much more juice comes out than with other juicers. It's quiet & does everything a juicer should do too! Loses one star as, if like me you make lots of juices at one go, juicing some fibrous/string stuff (celery or alpha alpha for example) can start to block the exit chute up a little after a while. (Lucky after all this juicing, that's the only blocked exit chute round here.) Overall, I'm very happy!

Had it for a while. Had a couple jams and the reverse spin option worked. For the harder jams, because there are no blades, I was able to reach in and just pull the bad-idea-for-juicing out. This gives me the most juice from some very low-juice items. The first few times feel like they take forever for setup and cleanup. But you get the hang of it. I watched YouTube videos at first. The amount of parts is a little daunting, but this works so well and is quite quiet that I appreciate the care in design. Used-Gifted it to a family member because I’ve decided the fiber I’m losing in my fruits and veggies is pretty important. I wouldn’t get the white next time. Harder to keep clean. I’m not a cleaner.

I like the way this juicer separates the discard from the liquid. It actually dispenses it rather dry. Very strong juicer, the base is a bit heavy but likely why it’s quiet & has so much strength. I’d buy it again!

As with any expensive item, I tend to pour through as many reviews, good or bad, as I can possibly find. I weighed all the options and made decisions about quality and warranty; the time sync in the Kuvings product was about a week’s worth of quiet time between dinner dishes and bedtime. During the 14 days that elapsed from placing the order to unboxing the product, during of which I watched all the YouTube videos while growing more and more excited by the day, it all fell flat after just 30 minutes of using the product when it shut off and refused to gobble anything further. Well, your probably thinking that this guy obviously did something wrong and is just cranky…read on. After 30 minutes of carefully feeding small pieces into its huge 3” wide chute, alternating leafy vegetables with harder juicy ones and ensuring that its hungry mouth was nearly empty before feeding it again, it shut down due to what the manual describes as a safety feature to protect the device from overheating. The wait time is 30 minutes for cool down before the machine will allow itself to accept the command from ones finger through poking at the button on the side. After 30 minutes of placing this juicer in detention and spending the time wondering why it overheated so easily and thinking about how my old 12-year-old Juiceman II never threw this sort of temper tantrum, it was ready to go back to work chewing down more wonderful fruits and vegetables. Without warning it stopped again after just 20 minutes of juicing. Again, I’ve read the manual from cover to cover, watched all those folks out there on YouTube sharing their experiences and tips/tricks to keeping the unit from clogging up, but to no avail mine likes to shut down while sporting its 3” wide giant middle finger that protrudes from the top of the unit. I am giving the Kuvings 6000BW a 3 star rating as it really is one of the best juicers I’ve ever used (under $500). However, great efficiency and high quality juice aside, I really hate the idea that the Kuving’s juicer has sent me to the corner again to take a “time out” from reaping the benefits from drinking freshly masticated vegetables. Times up! Back to juicing!

The assembly of this product becomes more complex because of extra items for the sorbet presumably that are not covered on the initial instructions. There's a quickstart and a larger assembly thing and things don't seem quite right or consistent between the two. Ok I'm stupid, can't put it together. Let me call their support number. They are open between 9-5:30 CST. I call them at 1pm CST. I'm told it is closed. Closed for lunch? Closed forever? don't know. If you read the instruction they only recommend high water content fruit and vegetables like apples or pears but 1) Soak your carrots before juicing because hard fruits and vegetables may put excess strain on the motor and cause a stall. remember it's not a centrifugal juicer. 2) soak fibrous greens in cold water for 30 minutes before cutting them 3) ingredients with small seeds should be put in slowly, and it has a picture of blueberries. If you're willing to do all that, I'm sure a working juicer would be great. and watch out for little seeds from raspberries. Only put in a few blue berries at a time. It is so high maintenance to use This product is too expensive and complex to not have a fully staffed helpdesk number.
