Got this for my son as a surprise so he could try it out before his birthday. Also, we're waiting on a new karaoke machine and wireless mics. I figured he could have some fun with this until everything arrives. OMG, he was so happy with the color (blue) his fave, the features and sound quality. This was a gift for our 5 year old so we haven't actually used it for karaoke yet... But all four of my kids absolutely love this microphone. They make up their own songs and announcements. They love the lights, and the voice changing features. The one thing we have noticed about it, is if you don't have it at max volume or just barely below that, you really can't great any some coming out of the speaker. My kids are crazy loud, so they don't mind keeping it away max volume. The kid toy microphones cost the same as this one, so I feel like this was a good purchase for what we needed it for, because it does more than the toy ones do and is rechargeable. ... show more

My kids love this. We actually got one for our older daughter a few years ago and she wore it out. My younger kids love this but one of them threw it and the top caved in. It still works though so they don’t seem to mind. Didn’t create any sharp edges when it caved in either.
