This camera is a great addition to my toolbox. The image is crisp and clear. The dual cameras is a nice function. The cable is medium duty but seems to hold up well for home use The software though is sometimes glitchy. At times the screen will distort and lock up when long pressing certain buttons. The manual also states that this unit can view both cameras simultaneously. That is incorrect. It can display only one view at a time.

This endoscope (KULEMAX / model T21 / Dual lens / 1080P / 4.5" screen) is positioned in the lower to medium price spectrum and it works well in that area. The dual lens is a feature that separates it from cheaper endoscopes, and I always found that a dual lens system is definitely a minimum for an endoscope -- so, that is a very nice feature of the KULEMAX. It came half charged and it worked right out of the box. The manual is not perfect, it seems it is written for multiple models, therefore, my manual described the function 'switching from front to side lens' wrong: it is not a long hold OK button but instead it is a double click on the OK button. It took me a while to find out how to switch cameras. The screen resolution and color rendering will definitely give you a good view at things. Both cameras have the same resolution but a different focus distance -- the side camera can get closer. Subjective feel maybe, but I felt the image quality and colors of the side camera were slightly better. Or it was just that I could go closer because of the focus distance. The photo / video button works fine and a 32GB card is already inserted in the endoscope. The display does not allow to rotate or flip images which is a feature of more expensive borescopes. The pictures are 1920x1080 but highly compressed, therefore the file size is rather small, but the image shows artifacts and much softness from the compression. I need to say that the picture quality is better when viewed on the built-in screen than on a computer, just because of the pixel density, I guess. For most people it will be the endoscopes built-in screen where they check out things. It takes some practice to navigate the snake in a way to have the camera in the right angle or position, therefore I miss the image rotation a bit. The snake cable is semi-rigid / flexible and relatively thin. The advantage is that the cable can get to tighter areas but on the other hand it seems a bit more practice needed to steer it well through spaces. It works well for anybody who just needs an endoscope once in a while, not on a daily basis, and if budget is a concern -- this endoscope is budget friendly but of course some trade-offs have to be made, like with other tools, the more you spend the better the quality gets. If you can afford a higher price level and the tool is of importance to your tasks, I would make the investment and go a level or two up.

For starters the manual is horrendous way beyond poorly written. The control buttons for image and video capture work poorly and require multiple forceful hits for any kind of capture which defeats the purpose of micro photography or micro video capture. Went through two units with same issues. Last but not least there is something that goes against the grain when an item sells for $59.00 US dollars and production cost is probably less than three US dollars. And so it goes .........
