The insert contained very little directions. There were huge gaps in the little information present so I just had to guess and hope for the best. After it fell down 4 times I went online and zoomed in on the pics to see what the instructions were missing. They say nothing about which pole goes where or how to install the rain fly. The poles were so loose in the connectors they would just slide back out and collapse. The walls are paper thin with super cheap zippers and the seam holes pop wide open with any kind of tension. This tent is worth about $20, not the $170 I paid for it. ... show more

Let me just start by saying that the only thing I would change about this tent is the “instructions” to put it together. My fiancé and I went to put it together the first time and realized the three pictures we were looking at was all the instructions included on the construction of the tent. not very useful.. I can say that once we figured it out and once the tent was fully set up it was the perfect family tent. Everything I expected it to be and more. I would give it a 5 if I didn’t see condensation on the inside of the first layer of the tent. I placed the rainfly on it and it still received some condensation after a short rain. I highly recommend getting a tarp just to make sure it stays dry inside. Overall, it was enough space for 3 people, a full size mattress, a table, 2 large coolers. Lots of ventilation. ... show more

    • The Tent Didn't Pass The Test

The media could not be loaded. So I got this tent because the space and height was nice compared to others for the price. The quality of the materials seemed to be decent, and it was satisfying for a few days there, however as soon as the rain came, it all went to crap. Thankfully I was present when the rain started or it could have ruined a lot of my equipment. I was woke up by cold water dropping onto my cheek. As you can see in the video, water got through the rain fly and onto the inner tent. From there it just leaked through the screen part on top. There was more water on the screen part, prior to the video. I'm disappointed that this had happened, however there were a few other things that I did not like about this tent as well. During the day this tent becomes like a toaster oven 😂. Sort of expected though when you get a tent of dark color. Some may like that about the tent though. You can unzip all the sides for airflow if you like, but then you have like zero privacy. It is good at trapping heat in, so that could be a benefit in the colder months. Another thing I noticed was the zipper on one of the doors was difficult to zip up and down at times as it would get caught on the fabric and Id need to wrestle with that sometimes. Last thing I'll mention is the setup of the tent. You really need two people in order to put this tent up. Thankfully I had someone there who could help with that. All in all, the layout of the tent itself was not the issue, I actually like the layout of the tent, the issue was me being woke up by cold water on my cheek and having to make shift a covering over the tent and stay up to watch it so that the make shift covering didn't fill up a lot and collapse the tent in the process. Having to go out and back in the tent in freezing cold rain was not fun in the least let me tell you. I could have dealt with everything else, but leaking is not something that I can tolerate. Sure, I could go buy some tent sealer for it, but no, companies need to do a better job of testing their products and I shouldn't have to go out and buy something else to fix what should be standard on their product period. This tent is NOT Waterproof as is claimed in their advertising. Get better KTT! ... show more
