Great tent. It says it’s for 12 people. But I definitely don’t think it would be a good idea to have that many in this. But it fit my husband and I and our 4 children fairly well even with our queen size air mattress. And it held up great in a thunderstorm! Only sprung a leak on one side when the wind knocked the pole out of place. But the rest of the tent held up and kept us dry! I wish the poles to hold the sun shade were taller. Definitley not tall enough for anybody normal height to walk under. (I’m 5’4” and it was far too short for me but we used it to keep our cooler out of the sun) the instructions are terrible though. We just kinda winged it the poles weren’t labeled in the same colors as the instructions but I’d still purchase again if I had to go back. I love the top of the tent being just a net and then a removeable rain cover. So you can see the sky on nice nights. ... show more

My husband and I were evacuated from a fire with the rest of our community in a small town in NM. We took our new tent and headed to a lake a few hours away with our dogs. It was easy to assemble with the included instructions. We just went through a haboob with wind speeds of 15 mph and gusts up to 50 mph. We secured the tent correctly with the rain guard to help prevent sand and sat in the porch area through the entire hour and a half. Sure, some sand got in, but we were not worried once about the tent coming down or coming apart. We were completely comfortable for the entire event. I would give this tent 10 stars on this 5 star system for sturdiness if I could. We love being able to look at the stars at night through the open roof, which also helps with ventilation when the weather permits and I will recommend this brand to everyone I know. If I could do 0 I would. This was bad the whole way through. I spent way too much on this tent for it to break after 4 days. It says easy up, it's only easy if you have someone over 6 ft to help. The slide buttons don't always lock in place and you have to fight to get the poles to stay extended. There had been some rain which I thought it was doing well, no leaking. Until 4 days in, a regular storm nothing major, I come back after dark and the whole thing is down and snapped. I had to sleep in the car and take pics in the daylight. Horrible tent. ... show more

    • Survived Multiple Downpours - Stayed Dry.

I love this tent. Super easy setup. As with most tents, you'll want to get heavier duty stakes (why do they always come with those thin metal pencil sticks?). Endured three intense, multi-hour downpours in this thing. The only leaking happened during the first downpour, and only the tiniest bit in the corners. Some waterproofing spray once we'd dried out fixed that easily. Next two: no leaks at all. The ventilation in this thing is excellent. Did not experience that icky damp tent issue. It's super roomy, but still packs up light and compact. My only complaint is the front awning/rainflap. It's not wide enough to have open during rain without rain coming into the tent. But that's a very minor complaint. TLDR: I have always hated tent camping, but I love it now. This tent is awesome. ... show more

After waiting weeks for tent to arrive, it was damaged. One of the main tent poles was damaged. The bolt in the hinge was bent and not usable.

We absolutely love our tent! It did say it was waterproof but we went ahead and waterproofed the entire outside of tent and had no leaks at all. We had heavy winds and rain during our first use of the tent and didn’t have any problems. We did use heavier stakes for the canopy along with the ones they came with, the heavy winds kept pulling out the stakes with the canopy, rest of tent was good. Has ample room. We fit a queen size air mattress in the back and in the front had 4 coolers, our clothes, fan and still hd plenty of room to walk around, change etc. we are super glad we purchased this tent and have made it our home away from home every time we go camping!     • Overall good but Broken zipper pull on the first night

I like the size of the tent and the ventilation. It gets a great cross breeze with all of the windows open. But, really disappointed in the quality of the zippers. The zipper pulls for the front screen door came right off in my hand the first time we used it, leaving a hole and unable to use that door. We had to deal with it for the rest of the weekend though so we would at least have a place to sleep since it happened on the first night. Set up is NOT instant. My husband and I managed to get it set up but not without a lot of effort. The poles do not slide into position easily. But now that we know how the tent works, I think it would be easier next time but unfortunately I have to return it because of the zipper pull being broken off. Hoping for a replacement instead of a refund since I still like the rest of it though. ... show more
