This blew my expectations out of the water!! My sister works in the outdoors, and this had popped up when I was looking for Christmas gifts. I do love this little small outdoor wood axe. It is small enough to put away with the camping supplies. PROS: love the look of the axe. Its a clean looking axe. the value for it is great as well. It's balanced, ease to hold and strike. The blade is pretty sharp and does the job with smaller wood. Super easy to use. CONS: Given that it is smaller, it does struggle a bit with chipping larger pieces of wood. Do not expect to chop down a tree or even put much damage into a tree stump. More-so expect to use this to break up bigger pieces of already cut campfire wood in to smaller pieces. For that use case, its great. ... show more

We purchased this axe for our latest camp adventure and was impressed! We used it to cut 3-4 inch branches for firewood and it worked great. It's not extremely heavy and it feels comfortable to hold. Time will tell how long the blade holds a sharp edge but for the price, we think it's a great buy.

Works well but came in a very damaged box. Was dusty after opening it and the finish wasn’t great quality on the handle as it looked worn down or used even. Does its job though expected better quality.
