Make sure you get lock washers that work with the provided bolts. They’re “high collar” lock washers, stainless steel of course. Order additional lengths of the same mount bolts— So you can use the appropriate size with your tower. Get stainless steel. Make sure you use lock tight on the threads. Cut the rubber parts in partial circles and mismatch the two halfs with other sizes to get the best fit. Torque the bolts down evenly so you don’t break one. Enjoy!     • These dont go down to 1 3/4” bars.
Even with the thickest insert the rack still slides down the bar. Im gonna wrap the bar with some black electrical tape and im guessing that will fix it if not ill rig something up. They look good but it sucks to have to modify something that says it will do what it doesnt. I edited this and changed to 4 star. To make it fit 1 3/4” bar i just took the smallest rubber insert that came with it and cut 3 little half inch rectangles out of it and super glued them inside the biggest grommet and it works great.     • Not ideal for horizontal bar- but u can do it.
So. I called Krypt and they were straight up that this isn’t good for a horizontal bar (which my Calabria has). We bought anyways. Decent quality. No directions- at all which is weak. But. We torqued the hex nuts with vice grips which made a huge difference and added no slip to the threads. The racks works well for a week in Shasta. No complaints. ... show more

Fits a Monster Tower MT1 great! Looks great too. Note, these aren’t brushed like the tower. They are shiny chrome color. Honestly, I haven’t been on the water with them yet, but dry run, the boards fit fine.

    • Mounts are exactly 2.5 inch. Supplied Rubber will not fit.
Installed easy, however, If your tower tube is 2.5 inch, the supplied rubber will not fit. I used very thin rubber from a bike tube to protect from scratching the tower poles. Also you can not wrap rubber all the way around. Small half moons used.
