I replaced the extremely irritating plastic/silicone strap that came with my watch with this elastic one. First thing, it is more adjustable so can accommodate where you feel like wearing your watch on one day versus another due to outfits with cuffs or elastic on the wrists, or if you are retaining water and are a bit "thicker" that day. It is easy to adjust and you do not have to deal with being "between strap holes"... you can get to fit exactly. The bad thing is that it is elastic and will hold moisture. So, if you wash your hands sloppily or are having a sweaty day, the band will stay damp a lot longer than you would like. My personal preference is that I would much rather have a band absorb my sweat than one that lets it accumulate under the band on my skin like the silicone ones did. So.... totally a personal preference thing.

I really love this band. No metal touches, no there's no rashes. But, it pops off one side when putting on or taking off, but not always. So I just try to be sure to push it on firmly. I loosened it slightly, and it's been ok. As long as it doesn't pop off when wearing. But it is shift and breathable, not like the silicone bands. I really like it

I have had this band for about 8 months and I wear it daily. When it came I had to tighten It most of the way and I don't have tiny wrists so anyone with tiny wrists, it will be too big for. Also after taking the watch off and on for 8 months, the band has stretched out. I now have it as tight as it will go and its loose on my wrist and I will have to order another.

I buy a lot of stuff on Amazon, but don't normally comment. I am this time because after trying a couple others, I find this elastic band for the Gear Fit2 to be perfect for me. It is soft and comfortable with just the right amount of snug secure fit on my wrist. Best of all there is no clasp or buckle. It just slips on and off like any elastic wrist band. I've only had it for a week, so I can't speak for the longevity. It seems well made. It also looks nice with the zig zag pattern in the weave.

The only complaint i have about this band, has nothing to do with the band. I am a hairdresser and the hairs tend to stick to the band. So if you cut hair, go with a silicone band but otherwise, i love it. Also, i have a small wrist so most bands tend to be too big for me, but this one fits just fine. I've had the band for about a minth and it is holding up fine with daily wear.
