I have been on a hunt for a backpack that can accommodate my laptop/ remote work stuff as well as a jacket, wallet and necessities for my many trips to doctor appts with a relative. This backpack is perfect. It is made of sturdy material and I haven't tested it, but I would guess it is water resistant. The straps are a nice width and don't cut into my shoulders with the weight of a laptop. The front has two pockets that are the width of the pack. There is a small inner pocket to hold a battery charger which you can connect to the charge cord (attached inside the pack) The only drawbacks, for me, are 1) it is advertised as coming with a mini bag - this didn't come which, in itself, isn't a big issue, but don't advertise it then. 2) The gaudy bright blue lining... you see it in the product photos so you know what you're getting. To really improve this product, use a neutral color for the lining. The fabric quality is nice, so why not use a color to reflect that- beige, soft grey, something that keeps the interior consistent with the quality appearance of the exterior. That being said, the product itself is very nice and I use it often as it fits my needs. To the seller, please take into account my comments on the aesthetics of the bag and you'll have a beautiful, quality product. (and you can send me that cosmetic bag any time now... lol)

I purchased this bag just as the shelter-in-place measures went into effect, so I haven't actually been able to use it for it's intended purpose (commuting with my laptop) yet. But it is gorgeous and I can't wait to get to use it! I wanted a backpack that I could carry in place of my purse when I need to commute with my laptop, something that looks professional and "adult" enough to bring to meetings and out for happy hour after work, but that was still comfortable to carry around and commute with even when full. After looking at a ridiculous amount of laptop backpacks, I am so glad I purchased this - it's everything I wanted!!! First off, it's beautifully made, with great quality materials and the design is very sleek and stylish. It's made of a heavy canvas-like material, with some faux-leather accents. The zippers are plastic and the pulls are lightweight, but overall the zippers are large and seem to be decent quality, zipping easily so far. I like that there is a double zipper for the main compartment. I just wish the zippers were metal, and either silver or black - I'm not a big fan of gold. I was a little worried about the bright blue interior but it's a much more muted turquoise (almost Tiffany Blue) inside and I really like it - it also makes finding things (especially pens) really easy. We'll see how it holds up to dirt/discoloring over time. The backpack is large enough to carry everything I need, but still remains sleek and not bulky, since there aren't pockets sticking out all over the place. The outer drink pockets don't stretch, but they fit my 40oz reusable water bottle perfectly (even though I usually carry that inside), and will hold an umbrella nicely if needed. There are tons of pockets inside the main compartment: 1 large one for a laptop; one for a tablet/iPad; a couple for pens/pencils; 2 deep ones for whatever (I put a folding brush, mirror, lipstick, chapstick, tissues, and small bottle of hand sanitizer in one of mine and there's still LOTS of room to spare), and one large zippered one on the inside of the front - it will be perfect for passports/travel documents while traveling (I wish it was RFID). The luggage strap across the back that can go over a suitcase handle will also be really nice when traveling and it's made of a seatbelt-like material so it should be pretty sturdy. There are also 2 vertical zippered pockets on the outside front, great for easy-access of phone, headphones, metro pass, sunglasses, even a small umbrella while commuting. I love that the padded laptop and tablet pockets are fairly thickly padded, providing a good amount of protection. The back also has really thick padding, so I'm hopeful it will be comfortable on my back while commuting. My 15.6" laptop fits PERFECTLY snug and my 14" laptop has plenty of room. On its own the backpack is fairly lightweight, making the weight quite manageable even when I've got my big laptop, my iPad, a couple of notebooks and folders, my wallet, keys, phone, water bottle, umbrella, even a change of shoes inside (and all of that fits with PLENTY of room). The extra little "make up" bag it came with is the ideal size (maybe 9"x6") to hold my laptop charger, and is made of the same canvas material and lined with the same turquoise fabric. I haven't been able to commute with it yet, so I don't yet know if the straps will be comfortable once it's full and I'm walking around/commuting for long periods of time - they're padded, but not as much as my old Jansport, nor are they ergonomically shaped. I do like that there are little elastic loops you can tuck the extra length of the strap into after tightening them over your shoulders, so that excess length of strap isn't just flopping around. The only possible weak point I can find - and it's something other reviewers mentioned - is the top handle - it's not very thick, although it is made of a double-layer of leather and a seatbelt-like material. It's hard to explain but it just doesn't feel substantial enough to hold the bag if it's full of stuff/heavy. I don't generally use that handle (I just grab the straps), so I hope it won't be a problem. I also haven't gotten stuck in the rain yet, so we'll see if it will be water-resistant. Although I probably won't really need it, I tested the USB charging port and it works great, and will be nice to have if ever needed, especially while flying (I'm also happy the cord on the inside is easily tucked away when not in use). For the money I am VERY happy with the quality and styling of this laptop bag. As I start commuting and traveling again, and abusing this daily, I will update my review if any issues arise.

The floral design is beautiful. It is not too much. It is elegant. All the pockets inside and out are my favorite. This bag carries all my heavy books, computer, pencil case, notebooks, folders, and I have been using it since last year. No rip or tears at all. It actually fits my water bottle securely. The adjustable straps help a lot when I need extra support for all the things I carry.

This is the first school supply I bought when I started my master's degree a few years ago. I wanted to look like a respectable adult, so I opted for something with a sleek design.
