I installed these on my pontoon boat rebuild project. They are interior mood lights. At first I was unsure how to change the color as there isn’t a button on the light. You simply turn them off and back on again and it just cycles thru the color options. Pretty simple way to get multi color lights without have to run any extra wires or add fancy light controllers. These are very bright at night and add a cool appearance to the boat. Installation was pretty simple as i just hooked the wires up to a switch and that was it. These are a great value for the money and i expect them to hold up pretty well over time. They are petty much all plastic but they will be out of the sun for the most part and there isn’t any metal to have to worry about rusting.

These are well made lights and appear waterproof. Bright enough for courtesy lights and easy to install. Using them on a 32 foot sailboat below decks. Nice addition to the ambiance.

I got these in hopes they would work as a not-too-aggressive interior light on my golf cart and it worked perfect for that purpose. These lights are not incredibly bright, so I am not sure they would work well as hull lights. The lights do seem to be decent quality. They have a gasket on the back for sealing under water. The lights are fully potted so they should be water proof. There is only a positive and negative wire with about 6" of pigtail. The color is changed by turning the light off and on again. The light will not remember what color it was when turned off, so it will always start off as white if it has been turned off for more than a few minutes. The white color was my biggest concern as it is just all three RGB lights illuminated, but you do not see color bleed with the white color and it looks proper. The lights are very easy to install as some mounting hardware is included and it's just a positive and negative wire to your switched 12 volts. For the money, these are pretty decent lights that will allow you to cycle through a few colors.

These 4-inch 12V LED courtesy lights are a fantastic upgrade for my boat. I installed the 4-pack in the cabin and along the seating area, and they instantly gave everything a clean, modern look. The brightness is perfect for courtesy lighting — not overpowering, but more than enough to see clearly at night. They create a smooth, even glow without harsh hotspots. Great for moving around safely after dark without ruining night vision. The build quality really impressed me. The housings feel solid and well-sealed, and the IP67 waterproof rating seems legit. After multiple outings, including spray and rain, there’s been zero flickering or moisture inside the units. They’re clearly built for marine environments. Installation was straightforward. Running them on a 12V system was easy, and they wired up quickly with basic tools. The slim 4-inch strip design makes them easy to mount in tight spaces like cabins, under gunwales, or along steps. Overall, this 4-pack offers excellent value for pontoon boats, sailboats, bass boats, yachts, or even kayaks. Bright, durable, easy to install, and marine-ready. I would definitely buy these again!

My old pontoon was in need of a face-lift so last year I replaced the floor and seating giving it a new modern look but I was still missing some of the touches found on new boats. I decided to add accent lighting under the main couches so folks could see to get on and off the boat after dark. These lights were just what I was looking for. I wired them right into the switch on my dash. To change colors you just flip the switch off and on until you get to the desired colorm. If you turn them off for more than 10 seconds it reverts back to white. It's as simple as that. Nice looking lights at a good price.
