I tried out several of the $200 range boards. Based on reviews and the ride this worked best for me as it was the longest board. If you are handy I’d buy a longer just the wood board and just put the electronics on it. But if your lazy and just want a nice little ride and you live in an area with smooth flat concrete this is the right choice for 5’9” 200 lb person. Battery life seems accurate. Easy to ride and use controller. Quality: you get a $200 board. If you want to go the next price level, you have to spend 400 or more. It’s flexible. Durability not sure yet. On other reviews you see them complaining about puddles so just dont ride it on wet days. ... show more

This thing can climb hills and everything. It doesn't climb hills quickly but it'll definitely get you to the top. The controller is very light and simple but still beautifully put together or engineered. I spilled a bunch of sweet tea INSIDE my jacket and soaked the remote completely. For a full day it wouldn't cut on due to the water damage and I thought I might have to try and order another. On the second day it would cut on for brief moments when I held down the power button. The screen was so messed up from the water that I really couldn't see anything on it clearly, but the remote was actually working for the brief periods that it cut on despite still being wet on the inside. On the third day the remote was completely back to normal as if it'd never been soaked in the first place. The board is awesome and everything you could ever want in an electric skateboard. It takes a long time to charge fully but the battery will last for hours once fully charged. I work 10 hour shifts and I forgot to turn it off one day after leaving it where I always leave it on the side of the employee lockers. When I came back to grab it 10 hours later and saw the blue light on I started cursing myself out expecting it not to have enough battery to make it home since the thing had just been on for the past 10 hours. I STILL ROAD THAT MF ALL THE WAY HOME MAN! Worth every penny 💯 ... show more

First Electric Skateboard ever so far. I haven’t ride a skateboard since I was in high school. I bought this cheap one to test it out and it’s great! I use it everyday except when it’s raining for a short 25 mins commute from home to work and vice versa. The battery last me 4 trips (2 days before 10% Batt Left) so it’s pretty good. It’s very stable while riding it. Speed pretty good, I’m 165lb and it rides great. I didn’t have to adjust anything. It’s not heavy at all. Money well spent. Cons: 1. It takes quite a while to fully charged. 2. If you are a beginner, please use a helmet and Gloves. (Workout gloves are awesome for me as more breathing room and more cushion) ... show more

This board is definitely not for amateurs. Unless you keep it in gear mode 1.. ive longboarded for over 15 years and this is a just opened box first ever E board review. I thought the trucks were a liiiiiil to tight for quicker turning as even faster turns I can’t even carve it hard enough sometimes (atleast for just opened box.) Gear mode 2 is where you get your bearings. with top speed of 15mph it’s zippy but very gradual in the build up. Gear mode 3-4. You better buckle up buckerroo. You are a street surfing sled of death!!! The stopping power is dead stop no matter the gear mode. A wrong 5cm flick is all you need to have this thing stop nearly on a DIME even at higher gear modes… Definitely worth it for the price, the back end lights are a nice touch too. ... show more

Unfortunately, the battery for this does not really last that long at all. And it will do the 17 mile an hour but not really once there’s a person on it. My Grandson is the one I got it for and he weighs about 145 pounds and when he gets on it, it will not get up to 70 miles an hour unless he would be going down a hill or something. I’m considering sending it back. And possibly buying him a better one. ... show more
