This would have been 5 stars for the price, look and ruggedness except for one thing. Fit perfectly in our laundry room and looks great. Our only issue was that it had a chemical smell for a several days after we put it down. We usually keep the door closed when washing and drying to muffle the noise (especially from the dryer); however, the smell became moderately overwhelming when you walked into the room. We decided to keep the laundry door open all of the time for a few weeks and it seemed to finally dissipate. It was rainy here after we originally put it out so I could not put it outside, like I have in the past for similar smells with rugs, to have them dissipate that way. A minor issue for us (I lost my sense of smell after getting the original Covid and it's never come back, so I can't speak to the exact smell....) but the wife definitely was bothered by it enough to take action. All good now and happy with the rug; however, people with smell sensitivity might need to either look elsewhere or put it outside for a while before using it inside the house in a small, enclosed space.

Update: changing my 3 stars to 1.. I would give a zero if I could. It turns out it wasn't just glue spots, something about the chemicals in the back of this rug actually ate into and created dents into our Saltillo tile. I've been told that because the tile is porous it will eventually work its way up and out we got it about 80% clean with hot water and soap and scrubbed, but it's going to take a long time and we might have to reseal the tile. Unless you don't care about your floors or you're putting it on carpet, I would not recommend this. This was the exact size I needed for in front of the kitchen sink along the counter. It has a somewhat rubberized backing so that it's non-slip. I usually avoid that because I want to be able to wash and dry it in the machine to get all the lint and animal fur off. You should know that the rubberized part on the back is very sticky and it left sticky glue polka dots all over our new Saltillo floor. I think it will come off someday but we will have to sit and scrub the floor. I would not buy again for that reason, that it left a lot of sticky glue on my floor.
