i really like the look of jute rugs but i have cats and they love sharpening their murder mittens on jute and sisal rugs (understandably so) and they end up only lasting me a few months before i have to throw out. this is a faux jute rug and it is so cat-friendly (i.e. durable) but still very nice looking! i put it in front of my laundry closet so a very high traffic area and, for the most part, it has stayed in place (except for the moments where the cats get their zoomies). i like that it is washable and that it has a rubber backing so it's not slipping and sliding everywhere. great buy! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Nice material. Thin & no cushion but the material is soft. Seems durable for what I need to protect wood floor from walk wear & no slipping ~ especially for our grandkids & grandpups. Vacuums nicely on medium level. Have not yet steamed to remove wrinkles but should be easy to do when I get time or may just let them work those out over time. Love this color, blends well with other carpets/rugs. This runner was even better than I expected. I bought the 2’ width but ended up returning and buying the 2.5’ width version and it is perfect for my hallway. It’s the highest traffic area in our house and with a toddler, two adults and three dogs it has been so great. The grip actually holds down 95% of the time. The other 5% is from the occasional dog zoomies that can turn up a corner but the runner still stays mostly in place. Would buy this again, very happy with its looks and performance.
