This is a great starter mechanical keyboard to rebuild and mod. With hot swap sockets, and use either 3 or 5 pin switches. There is a volume knob, wish that the button on the knob was for mute, and not pause, but I can ignore with the price. RGB is bright, but note that they don't produce pure white, but a slight yellow tinge to it. I like the USB-C cable for the keyboard, but be mindful that the port is a little recessed into the board. A USB-C plug with a "thicker" housing would not fit, like a 90' cable that I intended to use, but can't fit. Also, the switch plate is part of the outer plastic case, so just make a note of that. There are more positives than negatives, and I do like this keyboard. Didn't have to mod much, beyond using black switches and MSA profile keycaps for that old '70s look. Will update if there is more to add later on. ... show more

Its honestly comparable to my corsair strafe keyboard, the downside is the plastic backplate making the keys sound a little clacky The backside led that is always red you can turn of with fn+right windows key The switches feel decent but keys are wobbly. Its definitely a steal for 20 bucks

I got the silent keys and I use it at the office and home. The keys feel Incredible. Typing is a joy. They’re a little clacky even with the most silent switch but it’s not louder than a standard keyboard. I replaced my most used keys with a diff color then matched it with the backlight. This board was almost my favorite board for a long time. Having a knob on a full size board was my dream and the price for this board was unbeatable for what I was hoping to get. The boards quality overall is… decent. Definitely replace the keycaps, they’re not great, and the stock switches are very cheap, but everything is on par for the price point of the board. The one thing that REALLY made this a no go for me was the plate. It’s made of some sort of plastic. Not acrylic, like cheapo black plastic that makes the board sound and feel terrible, which is half of the experience of having a custom board. It was quite disappointing to find that out and ultimately had me go back to my old board. If you’re on a tight budget and this board checks all the boxes for you, then I say go for it, but expect a bad typing experience that feels cheap. ... show more

Thsi keyboard is nice over all. The switch have a nice linear responsiveness to them. and the RGB is preatty nice. The keyboard sounds much more clacky than thocky out of the box.
