The hair piece has a clear band that can be worn as a head band or not at all because the hair also come with a row of clips that attach to your own hair. It comes wavey with straight ends (probably about 2.5 inches of straight end). The color chosen was the closest match to my daughter's hair and was used to add a bit more fullness and subtle length for her prom hairdo. The hair is synthetic, which is why it's so affordable, and I believe that I read somewhere it cannot be curled or straightened with heat. It does feel a bit plastic, and we did not like that much straight ends so our hair stylist scissor point cut the ends to better blend in with my daughter's curls and to shorten it a tad. Then hair oil was added which immediately made the hair piece less frizzy looking and as if by magic, it all blended perfectly and made her entire look POP! She received so many compliments on her hair! And only 1 or 2 people asked if it was extensions - that's how much it looked just like her own hair. She said it was little heavy and did start to feel like it was falling loose after about 10 hours of wear. The butterfly hair swirls were purchased here on Amazon as well. After use, it is backing to looking a bit frizzy again. We are going to try to finger comb/smooth it back down and will again try a tiny bit of hair oil or serum. My daughter may try to wear again for graduation. For only $20 they were a terrific purchase - especially if more than one use is going to be gotten out of them. ... show more

This product is pretty good - I'm just not sure I LOVE it yet. The color blending is nice - I ordered the 20 inch in the dark ash color and was really concerned it wouldn't match my hair color - but it does perfectly. I'm not sure I love how light the ends are and they do look a bit ratty- but its nothing a trim wouldn't fix. The texture of the hair is realistic - and doesn't give off a synthetic or plastic look - which I am very particular about. My problem is: I have a lot of hair- its not crazy thick, but because I have a lot of hair strands it APPEARS thick. Although the color of this product blends nicely, it is not thick enough to truly blend with my natural hair and you can tell that I have shorter hair, especially in the back. The extensions could have used at least 2 more sewn in wefts to blend in better with my thicker hair. I like the product enough though, so I am considering ordering a second one (perhaps the next length up) to double up the wefts and blend better. In the photo I shared, I had to strategically place my hair to make it look well blended. To wear it as-is in a public setting would require a lot of adjustments and monitoring. ... show more

But I did return it only because I’m one of those people that always plays with my hair. I’m always tossing my hair back in one direction or the other so the only thing that did bother me was where it’s a halo you can’t really do that or you’ll just mess your hair up also, my hair is naturally pretty thick, so it just kind of felt really heavy on my head and it might’ve been because I already have heavy hair plus that it was just too much. It didn’t look good other than I did not match the color like I thought I did, I mean it wasn’t far far off but it was definitely noticeable in the sunlight so if I was you and you wanted to buy this one, I would definitely do it if you had then here too don’t buy it if you constantly are moving your hair and then three make sure you check what color your hair looks like in natural sunlight or you won’t even come close to a color match 😂🤣😩 ... show more

I really liked this product compared to two others I have tried over the years. One thing I will note is the corners of the hair piece could’ve been thinner, or the clips should come all the way to the end. One side of mine did not completely come to the end, causing it to easily stick up, making it look less seamless and noticeable rather than having a completely natural look. If you’re a woman and know what you’re looking at, you can tell this is a hair piece and not my natural hair. I had very low expectations for this, but ordered it based on the reviews. SO FREAKING HAPPY! I ordered a couple colors, but the 16 Inch , Balayage Chocolate Brown to Caramel Blonde was the best for me (pictured). I liked the highlights for summer. Also worth noting, colors look a little different in/out of natural light, so make sure to get in the sun when you’re trying these! The length was perfect and so is the color! My hair was not styled when I put in the extensions because I was so excited to see the color match, and CANNOT wait to do it fully. This is only 1 set. I was worried others pictured had more than 1, but one is sufficient for me, and I don’t think 2 would work unless you already had long/thick hair. Either way, BUY THESE! I love this synthetic halo piece. It gives me incredible fullness and length. I purchased light brown mix golden blonde and the match is perfect! I did purchase two pieces but I’m only wearing one in the photos. Two would feel too heavy in my opinion and wasn’t necessary for me personally. The only downside to this product is it tangles easier than the real human hair extensions I have. But that’s not a big problem and the hair looks very real to me. It’s also very easy to put in. The first time I wore it I didn’t remember to open the clips to secure it to my hair and it still barely moved. To install, I make a part, pull back the top back section of my hair, put the string on top of my head like a headband, secure the clips along the back of my head, and let my hair down and comb out to cover the clear string. So I got this thinking I'd add length to my short hair. Sadly it wasn't wide enough I probably should have done two. Either way we had fun with this! It made an awesome mullet for my fiance 😂 I feels nice and looks pretty real! It match my brown hair perfectly. If only it did what I wanted. I think if you want a little extra length in your hair this product is alright. It's not uncomfortable and the band stretches well. Even has a backup band. It isn't very thick. So depending on what you want it may or may not work for you ... show more
