I often find myself playing games for more than 2 hours on average, and when using the PS5 DualSense controller, my fingers and hands used to frequently tire out. However, my friend introduced me to this brand, and I decided to give their product a try. I've been using it for about half a year now, and I can't imagine gaming without KontrolFreek anymore! Not only is it much more comfortable for my thumbs, but it has also significantly improved my aiming control in games. Since 2023, online gaming has become more competitive, with split-second decisions and controller performance playing a critical role in determining the outcome of a match. Instead of spending money on PS5 cover designs or decorating the gaming room, my initial recommendation would be to invest in KontrolFreek at first. Good Points: ・The material has just the right amount of firmness, striking a perfect balance between not being too soft or too hard, which greatly enhances the comfort during extended gameplay sessions. While the original material of the DualSense controller used to tire my fingers after 2 hours of play, this product has made gaming much more enjoyable. ・Ever since I added this to the right grip, my aiming accuracy with weapons in games has noticeably improved. In games like Apex and Call of Duty, where precise weapon control is very crucial, KontrolFreek products have become indispensable. Areas for improvement: ・KontrolFreek is well-known for enhancing controller performance, but it can seem a bit on the expensive side. Considering the quality of the materials used, offering some discounts might be worth considering. ・Regular cleaning might be necessary for this product. The top part of the product, where your fingers come into contact, has a grooved design that can sometimes collect dirt. It would be even more appealing if it were made from antimicrobial material. ・I would love to see a wider range of color options. Having products with the same structure and design available in common colors like white or black would be a welcome addition. Since the original DualSense controller comes in white and black, having colorful options could add a touch of vibrancy to the design.

They are exactly what I thought they would be but they made the PS5 controller too big to use for my hands. However, it also works on the PS4 which feels better with them.

I've been aware of KontrolFreeks for a long time but have never felt the need to try them cause i usually opt to swap out the thumb sticks. Didn't really feel like going thru all that this time around so i just went ahead decided to give these a try. I gotta say that I'm actually impressed with how they feel. They have a decent surface area and the grip is enough for me. My fingers don't really slip like that not sure why some people are saying it's not "grippy" enough but i guess no two fingers are the same. The best thumb stick material i have ever felt would be the PS3 thumb sticks if KontrolFreek ever got their hands on that it would be a wrap. The only issue I'm having so far is the mid rise for the left stick is a little too high for me so i find myself not putting it on which kinda makes me feel like half my money is being wasted by not using it, minus one star for that. I love the high rise domed that you get with the Vortex. So much so that I'm pretty much done with concave thumb sticks at this point, domed is the way to go! I'm probably gonna order the KontrolFreek Edge for my xbox control. I put a piece of napkin on the Xbox right stick and fitted the high rise onto it just to see how it would feel and i like it even more on the Xbox 1 control. If you're not used to heightened sticks it will take sometime to get used to so please keep that in mind. Also if you're bad at the game these won't turn you into a pro lol.

I game a lot, but fps/battle royales were new to me and a pro gamer I had the pleasure of playing with suggested my aim was solid but lacked precision in a dogfight. I told him it was my first time playing fps games he suggested something to offset my hands and guide my aim for precision. I'm not out here kicking tail like he is my k/d (never paid attention to it prior to getting these) has actually improved as listed on my apex profile (again had no idea) They aren't a cheat code or some demigod tier aim assist but they help, just wish they hadn't fallen apart (the rubber on top of the sticks, not the sticks themselves) they fit amazingly never had any pop off during gaming sessions. have had one fall off when I dropped my controller but now even with 1 less prong it still fits comfortably for every day play. I dropped a star for the rubber grip coming off the top inside 5 months but the thumbsticks themselves are still going strong a year after purchase will buy again once the ps5 versions come out :)
