Kona is the best, especially for dark fabrics. They are not overdyed and so they are a true color. It’s hard to find a black that is a true color. I always buy Kona for projects with solids.

The color in the image is pretty true to the fabric color. The fabric seems a good quality for the price (same weight in a poly/cotton is selling for $12/yd at Joanne's & Hobby Lobby) . No flaws. A nice medium weight. I bought it for an embroidery project & both the weight & texture are excellent for that purpose. I have not yet washed it, so I don't know how it will be once the sizing is out. ... show more

I love this material I have ordered it in 3 Colors now and reordered it in this color! I ordered some Kona Cotton Fabric from another retailer and it was about the same price but not as thick. I also ordered another brand of 100% cotton fabric from Amazon and the quality wasn’t as good. I love the weight of this brand and that it is easy to sew. ... show more
