I really like the mid century style bed！ There was a little smell when I opened the package, but it is the smell of the wood itself. I recommended to ventilate for a few days. It was not complicated to install, we took less than one hour. Compared with zinus, the one I currently use, they are very similar in shape and color. The wooden strips of this bed frame are thinner, and the supporting columns at the bottom are made of wood, not iron. I had some concerns at the beginning, worried that it would not be firm enough, because my child likes to jump on the bed. However, I have been using this bed frame for over three weeks, and there is no strangeness or noise so far, my worries are unnecessary. The assembling process for this was way easier than I expected. I didn’t really need to read the instruction and was able to install it with no problem.
