  • Good Product but One Star Off For Modifications Needed.
Color: White Size: Elongated
I made installing this very easy on myself by reading reviews and addressing two weaknesses immediately. Bolts/nuts: The complaints about the seat moving back and forth are valid. There are two plastic arms with hooks on the end that lock the seat into the mounting base. One of those arms is just a tad longer than the other allowing a wobble on one side. I cut a thin piece of plastic, just thick enough to fill the gap on the loose side, between the seat and mount, and super glued it into place onto the seat. THEN I used the included bolts, threw the plastic nuts away. I added steel nuts to each bolt in addition to 2 flat washers and two spring lock washers to each bolt. After checking that the base and seat were properly positioned on the bowl, I tightened the bolts as much as I dared. That seat does not move at all. The water connections I made as TIGHT again as I dared. No leaks, this unit works great, I haven't used and toilet paper for days, and being this clean is very nice. THANKS to the reviewers who left the alerts! ... show more

  • Not made by Kohler. A knock off with major faults
Color: White Size: Elongated
This is NOT a genuine Kohler bidet seat! I called Kohler when the Tee valve was leaking. Found out this is a knock off product. Kohler seats have serial numbers, this one didn't. On the lid it's spelled out KOHLEP. You have to look close to see there is no "R" at the end

  • Leaking after one month of use
Color: White Size: Elongated
Water is leaking from the handle at a slow drip. Had service tech look at why my toilet is leaking, found the new toilet seat is the problem

  • Update: A favorite place for mold to grow---Original: a bit uncomfortable
Color: White Size: Elongated
Update: I've had this for a few years now. Don't get this. Mold grows on it like you wouldn't believe. It's disgusting. It's all over the nozzle and the underside of the seat. I clean it with bleach monthly. The nozzle is incredibly difficult to clean. I'm going to go back to a porcelain seat and get a separate bidet. It's okay. I got this because my toilet is a Kohler and I figured it would match (it only sort of matches but at least is compatible with my bowl and tank). The installation was easy, and now having the washlet is extremely convenient and hygenic. Even turning it on and adjusting the aim on the water spray is super easy with the simple handle. My only problem is the comfort. About 3/4 of the way back from the front of the bowl the seat starts sloping up, to account for space needed for the inner workings of the washlet. This makes it 'feel' like the toilet seat is smaller. I'd even venture to say it feels smaller than a round bowl. One of the problems is there is nowhere to try before you buy. If you order this, I recommend that you install the seat on the bowl, but before you connect the water supply take a seat on it. Spend some time on it. Play games on your phone like you normally would when you're in the bathroom (for some reason this seat made both my legs fall asleep after about a minute, vs. my old, normal seat only my left leg would fall asleep and it would take much, much longer). If you think it's comfortable, then proceed with connecting the water. Otherwise, pack it back up and return it. Maybe look for a more flat bidet seat. It may cost more, but it might be worth it. ... show more

  • Guaranteed to fail
Color: White Size: Elongated
**Second Update** OK, this Kohler bidet is garbage. First unit leaked and second unit sometimes leaks but recently the plastic that latches it into place broke. Engineered to fail. *UPDATE* In less than one month of using the bidet is leaking. As soon as you rotate the control arm water begins to leak out. I'm going to exchange it for another since I like everything about it, but it looks like this device wasn't engineered well since others are reporting the same thing in other reviews. ------------------------ So, 2 years ago I dipped my toes into the world of bidets purchasing an Alpha Bidet (version 1). It worked quite well for 2 years, but 3 things made me stop using it. 1. The gray rubber "feet" that you see on the Hibbetts model and Alpha model don't hold up. After awhile they start to tear and I ended up taking the feet from the lid and replacing the ones on the seat that tore (they bear the most weight). 2. The color is a bluish/purplish white that didn't quite match our Kohler toilet. 3. The way that it attaches to the toilet started to fail. The spring loaded quick release didn't click into place unless I pulled on it. So after getting rid of this I tried out the Brondell thin attachment. This installed easily and seemed well constructed. I was a bit wary of the thin plastic that the control attached to but underneath it has 2 pieces of metal for reinforcement. The issue with this one is it just doesn't hit the spot. On an elongated toilet I had to really sit back and lean forward which was uncomfortable. I'm not returning it because it was in our toilet and only $20, perhaps it'll see use another day. So, now to this bidet. First off, the color matches our toilet which is great. The rubber feet on the seat and lid seem much more durable than the gray feet on the Alpha bidet. Installation was a lot easier than the Alpha bidet as well, with the hardest part making the connections tight. The Alpha bidet had metal connections whereas this one is plastic. That's a bit of a shame. The seat itself seems much more durable than the Alpha bidet, but there is some squeaking of plastic under my keester. This one aims better than the Brondell attachment, but still doesn't match the sniper like accuracy of the Alpha bidet. However, using the control wand I'm able to strafe the "brown town" like a German Stuka in WW2. So far so good with this bidet, but if it fails miserable or starts leaking I'll be back to change my review. ... show more
