The toilet itself is great and I would have given it 5 stars. However, when it arrived, the toilet was broken into ceramic shards. I had scheduled my plumber to come that day and he opened the box only to find the broken bowl. It was a bit of a hassle to package it up and get it returned, but eventually a new one arrived and my plumber came back and installed it. It's really a great item; nice looking, comfortable, and very appropriate in our 1930s house. I recommend it, but just be aware that toilets are more fragile than you think and you may have the same problem. I must say, though, that the seller made good on the replacement. ... show more

    • Nice toilet
Ok, so I really like the toilet as far as toilets go, much better then the small toilet I took out to replace this with. The float in the bowl was broke and I did not notice, I would keep hearing the water run, open the lid, move the lever to make it stop, waisted a lot of water, replaced it and the replacement works great. While installing the tank, I heard the bowl break when tightening up the back bolt, was not tight when it broke, but the other two bolts seem to be enough to keep the seal together, and it does not leak, not happy with the three screw pattered or there was a flaw in the pour casting of the bowl. Two problems with it out of the box, and for $10 and a trip to Home Depot was able to fix one of my problems, the other problem will see if the two bolts can hold the seal or not. ... show more

Arrived broken. Saw this in other reviews but hoped it wouldn't happen to us. Wouldn't risk ordering this. Seems to be a chronic problem.

We have a Craftsman home but don't like the old fashioned look much. I actually saw this toilet in a house listed for sale that was similar to ours and style. Had originally been looking at a Toto similar style, but this Kohler toilet looked much better style wise with sharper lines. It works great, is on the small size as toilets go so it was easy to install in our small 'toilet room'. Purchased the toilet seat with the nightlight and appreciate that too. The light runs for 7 hrs, so works similar to a watering timer, whenever you turn it on, it comes on at that time every day and runs for the 7 hrs.     • This toilet does the job, but it's nothing special.
If you think you are getting an exceptional flushing toilet then this one is not it. It gets the job done most of the time, but sometimes an extra flush is required. If I had to buy again, I would probably get something else. This toilet is also pretty small and looks pretty insignificant in my guest bathroom. I don't know if all the new toilets are small like this, but to tell you the truth it looks a little funny because of its small size. ... show more

    • Distributor made good on broken bowl
Ok, so I bought a toilet on line because I couldn’t fit one in my car. Anyway the toilet came in two boxes and the tank was fine but the bowl was in pieces. I contacted the distributor efaucet and all I had to do was take pictures and within a week I had a new bowl. Big box stores didn’t offer this style. I’m in love with it’s style and sleekness and with distributor for rushing a replacement bowl. ... show more

This is a comfort height toilet but it's taller than others on the market, I am 5'3" and when I sit down, my toes touch the floor! I feel like a little kid in a chair that is too big :)
