  • Best bidet seat but also most expensive.
Color: White
Super expensive but this is the best bidet seat. I like that all the buttons are on the front of the remote. Having the button to manipulate the lid and seat on top is a smart design. No buttons on the back so no one needs to remove the remote from the wall. You can close the lid and seat by hand or by using the button and either way, it will soft close. Cheaper bidet seats don't have this. It's pretty easy to install and it sits stursy thanks to rubber feet. It feels like a quality product. I also like that it is the very slimmest seat. ... show more

  • E930 is pricy but mostly well designed. E930 is pricy but mostly well designed.
Color: Biscuit
Been using for about a week now and it is not quite as world changing as some would have you believe - recommend keeping a roll nearby. Definitely use less paper though and probably less water as there is little need to flush twice. Installed on a 20+yr American Standard which uses a bit more water per flush than what has been mandated today. One reason for choosing Kohler over others they offer something other than white. That said the biscuit color is not a perfect match the American Standard color which I believe is called linen, but it is a closer match than white. I need to point out the Kohler photos on Amazon and the Kohler website are a bit misleading as they do not show the water supply lines and power cord. This is typical marketing. The company I worked for did the same thing making our products look nice and neat but the real thing was more cluttered. Set your expectations accordingly. The supplied water lines are a bit too long, especially the one going from the tee to the seat. One-size-fits-all usually means there is often way more than is needed. My original supply line had a compression fitting at the water valve which allowed easy adjustment of length. Regarding installation the seat mounting bracket matched the standard hole spacing. The "nuts" provided did not do a great job locking under the bowl so pliers were necessary. That said, leave things a bit loose initially so you can tweak the position to match the seat to the bowl more nicely. Measurement provided in manual had the seat too forward for our toilet. I moved it back towards the tank and the raised seat still had plenty of clearance with the tank. The instruction manual is OK but the drawings are somewhat unclear and important details are missing in the text like how to set up WIFI. I attached a photo of the end of the water that attaches to the tee (manual calls it a valve and there is no valve, it is a tee). Other attached photos show the seat end. The hose attaches to a swiveling elbow. It is best to make sure the flat on the hose coupler is in a position that facilitates swinging the elbow into the seat without stressing the fittings. Unfortunately, we did not spec power outlets next to our toilets when our home was built so an extension cord was necessary until we get a proper outlet is installed. Some reviews indicate Kohler states not to use an extension cord. Not correct. Ideally no extension but they spec the type which is safe to use. I ordered ASIN B0CW2JM37L which provided what I needed for safe operation. You can get bidet seats that do not require power but we are on a well and that water can be rather cold. We needed the on-demand heater to avoid going into shock. Even if we had easy access to a hot water supply (not the case) you usually need to run water for some time before it reaches a comfortable temperature. There are complaints about the power cord length. Either it is too long or too short. Descriptions provided do not mention length. Our seat provided a 38-inch cord hardwired to the seat. When powering the seat for the first time, you should use plastic wrap to cover the bowl. Our seat started cycling the wand and spaying water without a manual command with the seat up or down. Made a mess, especially with the seat up. Loading Kohler Konnect on my phone allowed installation of a firmware update to the seat after finally getting the phone and seat to talk to each other via WIFI. I had to use the wife’s phone in addition to mine to get thinks talking. I still had the cycling and spraying after the firmware update. I unplugged power to the seat for several days contemplating returning it. I tried it one more time and the app on my phone said there was an update to the app which required removing the original KK app first. The seat functioned as expected after the new version was loaded on my phone. Also of note, setting the automatic functions with the original app was very frustrating as it seemed the software did not save any changes and kept reverting to defaults. The new app version fixed the issue for me. Pros and cons… Firstly the Kohler E930 is pricey to put it lightly. There are other options that are less than half the cost and still offer instant heat and other features. But they only come in white, the seats are very flimsy, and they are very bulky. The E930 seat cover is more solid and does not feel like it is going to crack when you sit on the cover. The E930 is slim, low profile and appears more integrated with the toilet. People complain about the remote – it really is a big sharp-cornered brick! I don’t care for the switches as it is kind of hard to feel exactly where to press. Another observation is the bumpers under the seat do not all make good contact with the top of the bowl. The concern I have is the seat may eventually crack. However, the seat senses someone is seated before allowing spraying and drying so the gap I speak of probably allows that feature to work. I wish it was powered with longer, low-voltage cable so it is nicer/easier to route to power at a distance. But the water heater likely necessitates the heavier AC cable to provide the needed wattage. It delivered well packaged with everything needed except basic tools. So far no water leaks as the Tee and hoses are pretty solid and well built. Overall, we are pleased with the E930, just hope it lasts to justify the cost. Giving 4 stars because the remote could be better. ... show more

  • "Command module" not as night friendly as the ~$900 model
Color: White
This Bidet Toilet seat is outstanding. A small learning curve is needed to get used to the toilet seat opening when approached. I reach down to open it about when it begins to automatically come up. At night, the electronic command module is not as friendly as the ~$900 model. This one requires the light to be on to clearly operate it. With learning, one can find the approximate location of the different command sites and then with some fine tuning movements one can get to the command that is desires. The other model has a much friendly command module that lights up (especially helpful at night). Else, the thing is great. ... show more

  • Lukewarm and low flow
Color: Biscuit
We replaced a bidet with this model and there are some issues. The water pressure is restricted and the water temp is lukewarm at best. The seat also does not get very warm. I would not recommend wasting your money on this model.

  • Preferred Previous Sturdy Model
Color: White
The auto opening cover is constantly a problem, always opens again when trying to walk away. Needs a longer delay timing to get away from unit after closing it. The mount to toilet is much smaller and flimsier than last kohler unit, seat keeps moving out of alignment.
