  • One of the best bathroom inventions ever
Style: Chrome Handle
Was chatting with a few friends and somehow the conversation turned to bidet seats. My friends who had them swore that they were absolutely fantastic and a must have in any bathroom. I thought they were crazy. After thinking about it for a while, I decided to get one to see what the fuss was all about. I did some research and this Kohler model came up as highly rated and the price was pretty good, so I bought it. The seat is very easy to install and comes with all the hardware needed. Everything was a very good quality and went together well. If I had one gripe, it would be that it's difficult to align on the toilet due to the fact that it has a separate bracket that installs apart from the main seat, so you really can't see how things line up until you slide the seat onto the bracket. However, this design makes it very easy to attach and detach for cleaning, if you ever needed to. The seat functions well and I like the fact that it has two separate cleaning stalks which work in slightly different ways to get you clean. Both cleaning stalks spray water with very accurate aim. There are a few types of Bidet seats, some which have heated water, and some that don't, like this one. Each has its own advantage. The non-heated models (like this one) don't require electricity and generally have more cleaning power since they don't rely on an internal pump for the water spray. Heated models are less powerful and require a power source, but they do have heated water, which some people might want. I was worried about this since spraying cold water on yourself might be a shock, but in reality, it's not a big deal and not worth the extra price / complexity of a heated model. Apparently, humans don't have a lot of sensitivity down there, so the cold water really isn't much of a shock. I'm really satisfied with how this thing works and it's a must-have in any bathroom. ... show more

  • It does the work and it is very easy to install.
Style: White Handle
(1) I was able to install this in less than 10 min (you'll only need an adjustable wrench). It is not as comfortable as the pure tide but overall, I like the design better. IMHO it is better designed than the Kohler Puretide. (2) Pressure is good to get rid of those nasty brown particles and leave the area sparkling clean. (3) It is important to note that you must connect the end of the white hose, the one that has the filter in it , to the seat and not to the three-way joint. I did this and I couldn't figure out why it was leaking water. I had no clue that the hose had a filter since other Kohler Bidet seats have the filter inside the seat. So, for those that are complaining about leaks: Make sure the white hose is properly installed with the filter next to the seat. Let's see how much it will last. My previous Kohler bidets (puretide) had issues and Kohler sent me replacements (loss of water pressure inside the seat, wand leaking). During that time, my experience with Kohler customer service was very very good (they sent me a new bidet without giving me a hard time) ... show more

  • Inferior quality, fit, and function.
Style: Chrome Handle
Over a year ago, we bought one of the mack-daddy $300 Kohler toilets with 'everything', including the elongated seat. Life interrupted the bathroom redo and we found the included seat was broken when we unboxed. Our bad that we didn't check the contents while still under warranty and we wanted to replace the bidet we had on our old one anyway. We've owned much cheaper bidets and were looking forward to the, presumed, higher quality and easier installation of the Kohler. Wrong on both counts. The weak 'streams' are barely strong enough to hit your butt, let alone clean, and the seat is already loosening and shifting on the bowl after 24 hours. If you're looking for a bidet, this ain't it. ... show more

  • It's a nice bidet, needs minor changes
Style: Chrome Handle
Installation is easy and adjustments, if needed are easy as will. While the bidet works well, I have 2 minor issues with this toilet seat. 1) I wish the stream was a bit stronger. I had a different bidet that mounted under the existing seat and the pressure was great. The Kohler feels kind of soft (I guess that's how I would descibe it.) 2) When shutting it off, there is no click or marking to let you know it's completely off. If you aren't 100% centered on the shut off, it will continue to drip. I sort of resolved that issue by drawing a line in the proper shut off position so guests, or anyone not familiar with the bidet, will know where to position the valve to insure a good shut off (see photo.) I used a magic marker and drew bot lines. ... show more

  • Great Seat
Style: Chrome Handle
We wanted this since COVID and the prices finally came down on bidets. This had easy to follow instructions and very pleasing to the eye. Sturdy and easy to use. Highly recommend

  • Great Bidet!!!
Style: White Handle
It has been always difficult for me to clean my buttocks since I have limited mobility in my arms. So I have been looking for bidets but they were too expensive and needed an electrical outlet near the toilet, which I don't have. Then, I found this bidet toilet seat at a reasonable price and no-electricity needed. I was a little concern about the cold water and the water pressure. The cold water is not a problem and it is even refreshing. It WORKS GREAT!!!! it really cleans the area . Also, it was very easy to installed and no leaks. My brother installed it for me in less than an hour. I am very happy with this bidet. It was a great buy :-) :-) :-) ... show more

  • How Did You Get By Without This?
Style: Chrome Handle
A bidet is so beneficial to better health and hygiene! They aren't so much in use in the US, and the European model with the spray nozzle in the middle of the toilet bowl is a big part of why it isn't used here. This is the function of a bidet integral to the toilet seat, which we all use anyway. This model has a handle on the side that directs water flow and volume to where you want it. It is a basic design. The water is cold water and the delivery mechanism is mechanical. Compared to the elite models, the water isn't heated, the seat lid doesn't automatically raise, there is no warm air to dry your nethers, but it works and it is reliable (something that cannot be said for the elite models that are electronically controlled and tend to fail). Everyone: You will wonder why you didn't start using a bidet a long time ago. There's nothing like a clean backside! Women: You can put an end to urinary tract infections just by using a bidet. ; D ... show more
