I’ve used manual bidet seats for years and loved them. Upon deciding to renovate a main bathroom, I planned to add a real powered bidet toilet for the bells and whistles! My contractor suggested a nice powered seat would offer most of the same features and recommended this one based on prior clients’ experiences and Kohler quality. I’m glad I listened! It feels like luxury, the features like changing the spray direction, pressure, heated water, seat, fan at the touch of the remote’s buttons (mounted on wall for convenience) surpassed my expectations for the price point. Replaced our old commode which had a manual bidet on it, so I ordered this one to upgrade the old one to appease my wife and mother-in-law, who lives with us. I found this bidet very ease to install without any problems. The two ladies love the additional features of the heated seat, water temperature adjustment and the remote.     • I love bidets
During the COVID toilet paper crisis, I installed an ALPHA and haven't used toilet paper at home since. So I wouldn't have to climb the stairs, I installed a second bidet. The ALPHA and the Kohler were the same price at Amazon, the toilet is a Kohler, so I opted for the Kohler. It fits more precisely. The Kohler remote is more complicated and it has a 3-D wash which saves me jiggling around of the seat. The Kohler also does some various things when not being used, which I don't understand. I think the Kohler seat is a little more comfortable. It covers more bowl than the Alpha. With my aim, I don't think that is an advantage.     • Remote will not work
It says the remote should come connected but it doesn't; it just keeps flashing. I saw a review about pressing the buttons on the toilet and remote simultaneously, and that didn't work either. I'm very frustrated.

This is so amazing, it has warm water, and warm seat, it makes you feel so indulged in comfort. The preset buttons, are helpful, so once I have the water temperature and spray set, I just have to push one button, My husband installed it very quickly, maybe five minutes, but we did have to call customer support to pair the remote. All we had to do was bring the remote directly next to the control panel on the seat, and it paired. Koehler makes a great product. ... show more

We had always had the basic bidet seat (slips under seat and uses cold water). I have been eyeing an upgrade for months, but wife felt the price was not justified. Oh boy, that songbird is singing a different tune now. The heated seat, warm water, position and spray selection and the 3D water massage function are favorites now, especially in winter. The raised back quarter of the seat (where all the hardware is contained) is something to get used to, but is well worth it. ... show more
