Love! It shipped and arrived earlier than expected which was great. It is very easy to assemble. I was going to wait for my husband but decided to give it a go myself and I put the whole thing together fairly quickly alone. The instructions were easy to follow. The bed is sturdy, no wiggle. Wonderful bunk bed!! Great quality, easy to put together (like everyone else suggested, you will need two people), and very sturdy! The only thing I didn't expect was the color... the picture on Amazon shows a darker walnut color and it is more of a grey/brown, but it's still beautiful and I would recommend it! ... show more

Bed had a couple of broken dowels where rails fit headboard, and some scratches that I covered with a furniture marker. Directions could have been clearer, since selecting the proper rail is crucial for correct assembly. Seems sturdy now that is assembled. Looked for under bed storage drawer from Kodiak in brown, ( BTW, looks more grey than brown), but apparently not available. Goes together with wood screws, bolts and inserts. Best to have a fully charged cordless screwdriver for the task. Expect a minimum of 1.5 hrs to put together. ... show more

Its study and well made. My only issues are I wish it had some plugs to mask the bunkbed pre-drilled holes for when its set up as 2 twins. And it smelled pretty toxic when we first unpacked it we had to leave the windows open and run the air purifier full blast for about a week before we felt we could safely close the door on the room and not get a headache from the paint fumes. ... show more

It hasn't been a year and this bed is already starting to fall apart. Theres a bolt on the bottom left of the ladder that attaches it to the bottom base of the bed. The screw ( Swirly thing on the opposite end of the bolt ) that it was supposed to stay in has ALSO come out. We ordered these bunk beds after reading the reviews. We wanted a sturdy set for our boys bedroom. This set is perfect for them. It’s very sturdy and stable. It’s sure to stand the test of time with two boys ages 5 and 8 as they grow into their teen years. We were able to put it together with two people in one evening. These are very sturdy and good looking bunks. The boys put them together with no problem. I love that I can separate them into twin beds too. I would highly recommend them. The only issue I had was that it came in in three different shipments, and the last took almost two extra weeks.
