Some might complain about assembly, ofc,, but if you're any good at assembling things its easy, just look carefully at pics for correct placement of parts, and they even make that easier with colored stickers to match parts together. Its quite large, Im very tall and my feet comfortably set on the floor, I can see how some say that their feet don't touch the floor. Nice mattress, very comfortable. They include extra parts too. We sat on it, combined weight of 550 lbs and it didnt flinch. Im very happy. I bought it because I wanted a couch in my basement and there was no way a regular couch could get down the stairs. To make the assembly much faster I used a cordless ratchet wrench with an allen socket on it, really made it quick. Would recommend and buy again ... show more

The shipment was quite fast. I got delivery a week before expected date. It came in 3 boxes - one with the back and seat decks, one with the sides and one with the futon. Assembly: I have assembled these kind of things in the past. So I knew what was to be expected. But I must say that it was much easier than other furniture assemblies I have done in the past. It took me and my wife about 2 hours and some coffee to finish the work, including post-assembly cleanup. Here is a tip: Watch the assembly video on their website. Just follow step by step. You cannot go wrong. I did not even look at the instruction booklet in the package Comfort: It looks and feels sturdy. Changing positions requires some strength - but again expected given the sturdy mattress. The only complaint I have is the sitting position height. We are family of short people. I am the tallest at 5'5". And in sitting position, my feet do not touch the floor if the rest back. I wouldn't say its uncomfortable, but it sure feels odd. But I guess it is me and not the product. It would have been nice if there was a mention of 'minimum height needed' in the product description :-) ... show more

I watched the video on how to put it together then I found the instruction in the box with the arm parts. I found the video with another company selling the same product. Overall, it was ok putting it together, better with 2 people. So far the frame will hold but the Mattress. It does not look like the picture. Maybe it is the angle of the picture. It will take two people to get the mattress in the position like the picture. Also like other consumers posted, my feet do not touch the floor. I did get it on the 15th instead of what's posted, the 18th. ... show more

Looks great, probably a higher quality material than you would get out of most futons on Amazon, and not too difficult to assemble. The only issue is the mattress. It's difficult to keep in place as it keeps wanting to expand. I have to adjust it to properly stay in the "sitting" position everyday.

Overall good futon. Pros: It was not too much work to assemble, but does require 2 people. The matress looks nice and material is soft. We like the side tables. It is pretty comfortable to sleep on when pulled out as a bed. My husband is quite tall and fits on it with room to stretch out. It is easy to get into the bed position. Cons: already had one of the fasteners for the matress slip into the fabric. (Had it less than a month). It is extremely difficult to get back into the couch postion without two people. ... show more

Sturdy futon. Only complaint is that I wish it was easier to switch between the bed and couch position. It takes two people and it always feels like the futon is going to break... but it doesnโ€™t. Lol. Seems to be design quite nicely. Just make sure screws are tight throughout the years so it doesnโ€™t fall apart ... show more

Pros: easy to assemble (with youtube video) but a bit time consuming. Very sturdy. The Expresso frame is beautiful and the mattress is firm and comfortable. Cons: Very disappointed that the color of the mattress in AQUA rather than navy blue, as advertised.
