This is such a great case! I have the leather Remarkable case, which I love. I'm going back to school and was worried that the leather cover might get damaged in my bag or in constant use in classrooms and labs, so I got this one. I love that it looks like a regular notebook on the outside! It not only will keep my Remarkable safe from damage, but also to keep it safe from people who may be looking to steal a tablet device. This holds my pen securely also. Great design and price! It seems like there may be a slot for storing extra pen tips in the bottom, but I haven't been able to figure out how to open that yet. I don't think that's a big deal though since I don't replace the tips very often.

I received this folio/case for my new remarkable 2 tablet and I find nothing wrong with it. It feels sturdy, and I have confidence it will protect the tablet from daily use. However, with that said, it doesn't have cushioned edges, so I'm not sure of resistance to drops, but if normal usage by an adult is the question for this purchase, I say go for it. If this was for a student, or younger/not very careful with items like this, I might look for a more cushioned device. It does have edge protection, but it's plastic upon plastic, which is why I say normal use it would be fine/perfect. Unlike other reviewers, I actually like the stylus holder. I tried 2 stylus's with it and I have zero complaints, in fact, I like that it's loose enough to enable the magnetic hold if you put the flat side of the stylus towards the tablet.

I really like my Remarkable as it is thin, lightweight and highly useful but because it is so slight of frame a case is essential. This case is a very nice option that provides security and protection while not adding significant bulk or weight. This case fit like a glove and held the tablet securely. I also like the pen well that helps to keep track of your pen, especially since the magnet (I've tried a couple different pensxat different price points with same results) for holding the pen to the Remarkable device isn't very strong. I like the old-school composition notebook look of the case. The only think I would like to be different was if the cover felt a bit more grippy. It's interesting that it feelskind of slick until I hold it with damp hands (like right after washing them or after picking up a drink with condensation on it) then it seems to have more grip. It's not slick like holding glass but it could have a bit more traction. I may try a few other options just for a good comparative assessment but I'm very happy with this case and feel comfortable recommending it to others (rating 4.5-stars)

I am a big fan of my ReMarkable 2, and I am a fan of about everything related to the ReMarkable 2. I was very excited to try this case. It is well-made (quality construction) for the price, seems to be durable, and it looks nice. The problem is that when I put my ReMarkable 2 into the case, the case front closes but not far enough to catch the magnets. If the case doesn't close, the stylus is not as secure (I've lost two genuine RM stylus, and they are not cheap). I may be able to "work it" to eventually train it to stay shut, but I have bigger fish to fry. Others may or may not have the same problem, but this won't help me at all.

The Remarkable 2 fits well in this and I love how lightweight the cover is. The tablet is super secure in this and the flap cover folds back really easily, which is nice compared to the oem leather cover. The issue with this is that the pen compartment sits too low for the Remarkable 2, so the pen can't be secured properly with the magnets, the pen needs to be higher up along the tablet and it can't because the compartment doesn't allow for it. It does secure slightly, but nowhere near what it should. If they would just give a little more room in the slot so the pen can move up, it would honestly be a perfect alternative to the oem covers, at a fraction of the cost. I'm not sure how they missed this critical detail, the cover is otherwise awesome. Also, the compartment to hold the pen tips is non-functional. I tried everything I could to "open" the compartment. It does not open. No amount of force or finesse could get the compartment open. Because of these things, it makes the cover fairly useless unfortunately, and I just can't recommend it. Its a shame because it is really nice and lightweight, while still offering a good level of protection.
