Takes good clear pictures and is easy to use...however, you cannot take quick pictures. I found waiting to take a second picture annoying. The other downside for me, no view finder and the screen doesn't pivot so sun glare is a big problem. So, I decided to look for something different. For the price it was worth every penny. I do wish there were more settings and features, but the quality is A1. I would say this is better-suited for videos, but if you can tweak the settings just right, you can get some beginner photographer type quality.

I have had several of this model and luckily, I bought the extended warranty because each and every one of them had the threads strip out where the tripod plate screws into the bottom of the camera. The threads are a cheap plastic and not metal, like they should be and cannot be repaired. Otherwise, the camera takes good photos and is simple to use. I got a new camera under the Asurion warranty and again the threads stripped out within a few months. The camera is still under Kodak warranty, but they won't respond to my claim. ... show more
