The media could not be loaded. As a hobbyist and a bit of a photographer-nut, I always wanted a Polaroid/Instax camera from a young age but decided to get this because of the bundle. It helps that it has a good price on prime day and getting more for the money and I heard the good reviews about the photo quality vs others on youtube. The fact that it’s pocket-size means I can carry it with me and capture more memories for the trip. Print quality is very impeccable and excellent. The colors does not precisely copy from the source material but it gives a film-like glow reminiscent of old Kodak photos which I liked. For the app and basic printing, the setup was easy and I had little problems connecting to the app. However to do extensive editing within the app is a stretch because of how hard it is to align the decorations and border within the crop mark and make it balanced with the use of my fingers, which I have a bit of a problem when I either already get a stray white line that was passed the margin lines down below, or get uneven borders which peeves on my perfectionist side a bit. Overall, the photos are great to use in creative projects and I decided to make the first photos into a mini album. It also looks perfect to keep in the wallet to look fondly to for motivation. If the company decides to one day sell sticker-back sheets for this photo, I’d definitely come back for more! ... show more

This thing is SO awesome! You have to get an app to use it, and the pictures don’t always fit quite right into the frame it provides, but it’s incredibly easy to use! I got it because I was taking a field studies class where we had to do write-ups on different species and ideally draw them. Well, I cannot draw, and tracing was becoming a MAJOR deterrent to me doing these assignments, so I got this to cheat the system lol. I’d further milk it by putting multiple pictures together in a different app, like one on top and 2 on the bottom, and printing it as one picture so I’d have 3 out of 1 thing of film, and cut and tape them however I wanted after. The app has an option for this, but I didn’t like how it didn’t utilize all the space, so I did it manually. The quality isn’t too bad in my opinion and you can really save on film by combining little pictures. One printed pic is about the size of a credit card, so beware if you wanted something bigger. I don’t mind their size :) it served its purpose very well!! Aside from school work, I just think it’s so cool to be able to get a physical print of any picture on my phone in a few seconds!! I read complaints of people saying it took a long time to print? Do they not have 30 seconds of time? Do they not remember the days before phone cameras, and having to take your camera to a physical store and wait an hour (at best) to get your photos, of which some store worker just saw all of? I find that bizarre. It clearly states that the pic goes in and out 4 different times to apply the different color layers. It’s not like a Polaroid where touching it immediately afterwards can ruin the picture, either, it’s good to go right after it’s done printing. One cartridge has 10 photos on it, after which it’ll tell you when it’s empty and to put a new cartridge in. So each box, which has 30 photos, actually has 3 cartridges. The color isn’t always super spot-on but it’s definitely good enough for me!!!! For example, my classmate saw me entry on the American dipper, a chunky lil gray bird with flesh colored legs, and commented on the bit of blue hue lol, I was like, nooo it’s sooty all around, but I get why you’d think that from the picture alone. Different pics will come out in differing quality but I honestly think it’s pretty damn good for like $85 total- the printer and the film that comes with it (30 in each box I think and if I remember correctly, the printer actually came with a cartridge in it, so it was 70 photos total). ... show more

Today I finally succeeded in printing a picture with the printer. The instructions for the printer say to install the KODAK Steps app on my android device. I did and made sure that I had established a Bluetooth connection to the printer. I started the app, selected a picture, and touched PRINT. After a few seconds the screen put up a message saying it could not connect to the printer. After a few hours of frustration I Googled the issue on the web. There I found a KODAK memo that said the app that should be installed is the KODAK Instant Print app. I tried to install that app and got a notification that the app is no longer supported. It also said to use the KODAK Photo Printer app. I successfully installed that app and the printer finally whirred to life and printed a picture. So, tons of frustration courtesy of KOKAK. Although the printer is working, I'm still going to return it. I will never purchase another KODAK product. ... show more

I really like this printer. I have an iPhone and set up and using it is super easy. I’ve been through the cartridge that came in the printer and started on a new one recently and it still seems to be working great. I just bought this for fun to decorate my planner with. I’m really happy with it.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. it was so easy to set up Bluetooth to her phone and pint the pictures. They print quickly and look pretty decent for a hand held printer. I liked it enough I want one for myself
