  • Beautiful guitar, great for beginners, classic styling
Color: Natural
I purchased this guitar for the Fender name, the classic styling, and the nice sound and playability. I have kids and other family, nephews and nieces that like to play, and I wanted a basic and inexpensive guitar for them to play when they visit; but I still wanted something that was nice. This guitar fills that bill and more. After initial tuning it stays in tune well; I slightly retune it each time we play it, especially when the strings are new, but it doesn’t need much. It will be easy to upgrade with new strings, but we will get ample use first from the strings that came with it. The dreadnought design is classic and beautiful with the natural finish, and the cutout makes it easier to reach the lower frets. Overall this is great to have around the house, provides a lot of fun for the family, it is good for beginners to learn with, and it doesn’t come with any worries the way a more expensive guitar might, when it is being handled and played by many people of various skill levels, including children. ... show more

  • Excellent Value for the money
Color: Natural
Most guitars selling at or below the $200 range are typically not very good instruments. I was very surprised when I played this acoustic guitar that has a 'Fishman' pickup & tuner built in too for such a low price. Its a Fender which has some brand name recognition if you ever decide to sell or trade up too. The action on my guitar was really good, intonation was excellent all the way up the neck and the fret ends were not 'pointy/sharp' ....meaning this was easy to play, good sound and the neck was very smooth. I've been playing guitar for decades but wanted a less expensive guitar for those 'rowdier' situations where I didn't want to use my expensive guitar. (ie playing outside or rowdier plays where it might get bumped or damaged). The tone on the guitar 'unplugged' is nice and somewhat full....nothing to complain about. Plugged in however with the Fishman pickup gives you a very nice, rich sound...wow! This is good value folks!! ... show more
