For 35 bucks, I expected to get something that would require “adjustments” to make useable, but this was perfect right out of the box. Maybe I just got lucky, but this stand is sturdy, robust, and sits perfectly flat. The short assembly video below the product description made it unnecessary to even look at the directions. I mostly appreciate the height adjustment mechanism. The other ones I saw on Amazon had 5 or so discrete choices, but each “click” on this one raises the instrument height about 1/8” for virtually unlimited fine adjustment.     • Just what we needed
we have an electronic keyboard which we almost never had used, partly because it was awkward to get it out and put it on a table of suitable height. This was just what we needed.

    • Does the job
I screwed up the assembly a couple times and had to redo things but once you get it done it does exactly what it should...hold a keyboard or rectangular shaped things (I guess). Be careful when adjusting height your keyboard could take a tumble. I find putting my foot on it when adjusting height is the way to go in preventing a keyboard free fall. It does the job though and fits under my desk fine with a decent amount of leg room. This was probably one of the more time consuming things I've assembled in a while, but I did it!     • Complicated to set up
It's a nice stand, but it took a while to set up. The instructions it comes with is hard to follow and it took way too long trying to set it up. I was tempted to just buy a different one because of that.

Needed a stand that was easy to lock into place without any popping of pins or unscrewing bolts. This one is easy and quick to open, click in place and close when finished.

Assembly: it would have been nice if there were a couple of illustrations, but the written directions were fine and I was able to assemble the stand by myself pretty easily. The stand feels sturdy, I have an older, heavy keyboard, and it feels safe on this stand It does it’s job, wasn’t hard to put together, and adjusting the height is very easy ... show more
